My diet bribe pot is for every day I stick to my diet and exercise plan properly I put £1 in a pot. Every 4 weeks I will treat myself to something with whatever is in there. I've been doing it for just 7 days and have stuck to it for 6 days so £6 in the pot so far. Saw this idea on the WeightWatchers website. There's nothing like a money bribe to keep me motivated!
That's fab - I'm going to have to borrow this idea!Goal 1 - CCs & Loans Credit card free as of 20 Feb 2010!!! Loan Free as of 15 Sep 2011!!!

I've been through the Life in the UK test and getting an ILR earlier this year. I might be able to help if you have any specific questions on those.Goal 1 - CCs & Loans Credit card free as of 20 Feb 2010!!! Loan Free as of 15 Sep 2011!!!

Sally can you let us know what week we are on please so we can adjust our plans to suit
Thanks
1) Be more positive about myself/my life... Bit of a wobble this week, well a big one really... But I am still getting there!!! :j
2) No spending unless its needed for my day to day living... Only £1.18 'spent' this week but I have been PAD'ing and paying coins into a saving pot :T
3) Use my time more wisely... Not going too well but I have in this week sorted budgets, wrapped xmas gifts, sorted stuff for charity and applyed for a new job
4) Pay off at least £300 from my debts... £304.92 I did it and still counting daily...
5) Lose 2 stone (28 pounds) in weight... 11lbs down so far, next weigh in is Wednesday
6) Stick to my eating plan 100%... 100% except three 'scheduled deviation's'
7) Make at least 4 handmade gifts and sure I have all purchased gifts by the end of November... No longer attempting this as it was gifts for work buyt I shall be saving my money instead0 -
Sorry haven't updated this, been away with the fairies!
So I thought what might be a good idea to get us a bit motivated is if we can list all the things we have acheived in the last 6 weeks and then list the things you would like to achieve in the next 6 weeks. Almost like starting afresh for the next 6 weeks but being able to see how well we have all done so far!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
Finally Debt Free...0 -

That's a good idea Sal, except erm, I think we've only got 5 weeks leftDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Hi everyone, i sort of lost track with this as when i original signed up my aim was to pay off my overdraft, however since then my catalogue apr went up to 44.9% so i started focusing all payments on that lol
Hopefully with 5 weeks left i can pay either on or the other off - so we will see xxx:j6 debts cleared since joining MSE:j:eek: Remaining debts... Very / Halifax Loan/ A&L / Virgin cc / Lloyds / Sister :smileyheaGetting Married 04.12.10 - The MSE way :smileyhea:dance: Making this house a home :dance:0 -
Achieved so far:
1. £271 paid off debt
2. £200 saved/ spent towards 'good stuff' - pressies, holidays etc - whilst still paying essentials and not starving myself!
3. Tried out gym class but think it's a waste of time as I don't really enjoy it.
4. Have run 8 times, longest so far 4.5 miles
5. Done more constructive things - lots of gardening, knitting, cooking and tidying!
So a bit of revision means that these are my aims for the rest of the plan:
1. Pay another £229 towards debt
2. Another £300 save/ spend towards good stuff!
3. Stick to new running plan, which means 20 runs in 5 weeks and longest run of 6 miles.
4. Have all Christmas presents bought/ made by end of the 5 weeks.

Hi Sally, good to see you back :kisses3:
So in the last 7 week I have ~
* Paid £300 off my debts...
* Lost 11lbs...
* Stuck to my eating plan except for 3 'scheduled deviation's'...
* Used my spare time a little better...
* Now more conscious about my spending habits...
Much better than I thought although its now time for the last push :j
In the following and last 5 weeks of this challenge I will ~
* Pay £100 off my debt
* Continue to monitor my daily spends :silenced:
* Lose 10lbs at least
* Stick to my eating plan 100% and no deviations!
* Excercise twice a week
Come on all, we can all do this :j0 -
My last 7 weeks achievements have been:
* I've paid £800 off my debt
* I've lost 3lbs in weight and am now back to my WW goal weight
* I've bought nearly all the Christmas presents I have to get
* I've paid for our March holiday accomodation, flghts and airport money
In the last 5 weeks I aim to:
* Pay another £400 off debt
* Lose another 2lbs so am under goal weight for Christmas purposes
* Finish off Christmas present shopping and start wrapping some up
* Save at least half towards March holiday spending money
* Ebay a few things that have been cluttering up the place
Let's go for it!! :jI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
