Nearly the end of another week and my plan for this week was:

    - go to the gym at least once - erm, nope
    - run at least twice -once so far, but planning to go out tomorrow
    - post off Innocent Smoothie hats - yep
    - do any surveys that come in - have done any that pay a decent amount!
    - keep an eye on Freebies and bargains for Christmas pressies - yes but not seen anything this week

And as for the overall plan:

    1. Pay £500 off debt - £161
    2. Save/spend £500 for holidays/ Christmas/ course I want to do etc - £123
    3. Go to gym class every week - meh, no, it seems whenever I have fitness aims my body rebels by not being well enough and my mind gets lazy and unmotivated
    4. Run at least 3 times a week, aim to get up to 10 miles for my weekly long run - see above, way behind schedule so revising target to 7 miles by end of the challenge
    5. Do something constructive (apart from work!) every day - not every day but more aware of using my time well

Payday next week so at least another £100 coming off the debt, and I'm going on a little holiday so expect about £100 to be spent there. Really been struggling with the fitness stuff, wasn't well and then the onset of dark mornings/ evenings has really hit me (as it does every year) and made me feel lethargic and like curling up and hiding. Trying to get my determined head on and not let Winter beat me!

  • 1) Be more positive about myself/my life... I am still getting there slowly, have had a better week this week though :j
    2) No spending unless its needed for my day to day living... Spent about £50 this week on clothes/supplies for holiday. Not too bad considering I used some of my savings. next week is holiday week and my aim is to spend under £100
    3) Use my time more wisely... Ok yesterday wasnt too good but today I plan to tackle a few small jobs ready for next week :D
    4) Pay off at least £300 from my debts... £304.92 :j I did it :j
    5) Lose 2 stone (28 pounds) in weight... 10lbs down so far, next weigh in is two weeks Thursday
    6) Stick to my eating plan 100%... 100% except two 'scheduled deviation's'
    7) Make at least 4 handmade gifts and sure I have all purchased gifts by the end of November... The handmade bits wont be started/completed till the last week of the challenge :A

Have another great week all

    Progress to date:

    1. Pay £1200 off debt - will be paying off £400 at the end of this week.

    2. Lose 7lbs - no movement on this front at the moment, sadly. Must make more of an effort. I have decided to bribe myself by paying myself £1 for every day I am good and stick to my WW points. At the end of the month I am going to treat myself. Hope this works!

    3. Buy all Christmas presents - still got 4 stocking fillers and a bit of something for OH to get. However, I bought DD a bracelet and jewellery box towards her birthday which isn't until January so am pleased about that.

    4. Pay/save for all March 2010 holiday associated costs - have paid for extra legroom and put aside money for taxi fares to and from airport and money for airport/plane spends. Just got to save the spending money now.

Good luck for this week everyone!

Right Im rounding up the troops...where are you lot? Come on keep at it there is still plenty of time to achieve something. Make the next 6 weeks a countdown to get organised for Christmas or pay off a bit of debt before the Christmas shopping begins?

    My list:

Stick to my budget and pay off £700/month on my debts Going well-ish, have had to pay out a lot for the bathroom though so I'm up to £670 this month. Will not achieve this in November because of the flat but at least I haven't used my credit card
Do some sort of exercise everyday No, but I have been at the flat every night trying to get that finished so my time has been productive.
Cook as many meals as possible therefore reducing my grocery spends Really enjoying this now, it's a challenge to see how far I can make it all stretch.
Go for a [STRIKE]monthly[/STRIKE] weekly horse riding lesson as a treat only if I save the money elsewhere to do it Missed this week because of job interview preparation tomorrow...will be back next week though.
Try and find some voluntary work to get involved in my local area Not yet, must do something about this when the flat is finished.
spend less time on the internet and more time being productive Still trying, succeeding more often than not.
Try and catch up with one friend a week Yep, trying hard on this one too, trying to at least respond to emails!
Get my flat bathroom sorted out ASAP and get the flat rented out Still top priority, have a goal to have it all finished by this time next week. Have taken monday off to get a few things done so not unrealistic.
Spend more time with my grandma (she's 94 and housebound and could do with the company) Went round for lunch one day last week, going to do the same this week - maybe Thursday.

Try and get a head start on Christmas shopping God no, am feeling very bah-humbug at the moment.
Start a DFW diary on here to keep myself on track Keeping it up to date, it's an excellent tool for motivation.

How did it get to week 6? Come on people, we are halfway there already!

Good luck this week everyone xx

I went and let myself get all demotivated :( but I'm working on pulling my socks up again!

    Plan for this week:-

    1. Start Slimming World (Mum's treat :) ) - first session tonight
    2. Get both of the too small wedding dresses on ebay and try and find one that fits with less than 4 weeks to go
    3. Catch up with the washing and ironing (must try Flylady but it always looks so scary!)
    4. Get a skip/do car boot and have a massive clear out
    5. Try to be positive and happy and not dwell on the negatives :)

    Good luck all xx

Well...... the best laid plans and all that! My DD had an accident and that scuppered half my week, and most of my plans, bless her.

So, with shiny new revised plans, here's what we have

    1. Spend at least one/one half a day of quality time with my partner and not take our time for granted Ongoing but slipped this week as DD taken all my time
    2. Accept that all offspring have flown the nest and declutter and tidy the big bedroom and move into it I have started to look at new beds and this would be a step forward
    3. Exercise at least once a week A friend has given me the number to a personal trainer...... maybe they know my willpower!
    4. Complete my Christmas shopping Doing ok actually, ordered some books from the book people, and also from Amazon all bargains so thats a few happy people
5.Work harder and better to support the small charities that we do, make a boost to their income in some small way Now support a little mite from Forever Angels and am fundraising to help a local hospice so all good there
    6. Make more of an effort to keep in touch with friends and be social and realise that work has taken over a bit Ongoing
To those who are given much, much is expected

        £2025 in 2025 = £680.60
          Food Budget £180/9.30.
