Hi everyone,
Will update again this weekend when I have hopefully got some better news (thanks for the reminder sallyx, a good kick up the bum if there is a nice way of having such a thing! I WILL do this!):o But so far...
1. Pay off chunk from credit card (currently £735 at 0% till next July, but if it gets cleared quicker, even better!) paid off another £50, hope to do more later in the month if funds allow
2. Buy and wrap all Christmas presents (look for bargains & make presents if possible) need to get back on track with this asap, have been in denial about C-day
3. Plan weekend away with friends (but save up for it before booking anything!) still in limbo due to the girls being pants at decision making, but at least I'm not spending anything on this yet and still saving (plus if it doesn't happen the savings will make a nice dent on the credit card!)
4. Clear out wardrobe and Ebay stuff I won't wear again (e.g. posh dresses from people's weddings). Or maybe Ebay most of it and swap something with a friend so I still have a "new" dress for special occasions - everyone seems to be getting married and having babies christened at the moment! Still have to sort out borrowing digital camera for photographing dresses for ebay, weekends so far have been stupid busy, not to mention weeks, but will try try try again
5. Cut food shopping down to the bare minimum have bought a few essentials but sticking steadfastly to The List and using up what I already have
6. DO NOT SPEND ON THINGS THAT I DO NOT NEED! (and use any money saved on clearing debts!) still trying to be good
Jassa (I hope I've got that right), I'm not sure how much money you are hoping to get for your paperback books, if it's more of a decluttering exercise than a money-getting exercise have you tried listing on green metropolis? I think I'm still too new to post links but do google it if you are interested. I hope I don't get in trouble for "advertising", it's just something I stumbled across from another thread and have sold 3 books so far. Not mega bucks but every little helps...

Ooh, thanks for this, I'm going to check this one out. I gave about 100 books to the charity shop when I moved house recently but I still have a lot on the shelves that could probably do with recycling!

1. Get boyfriend moved in and settled into a routine
This is done and we are getting there!
2. Sort out all income and expenditure
- cease HB/CT, redo WTC as couple, new insurance, new TV deal, other TBC
(to be done at end of this month, will start getting forms together)
3. Sort out both our debt repayment plans and get debt free date in mind.
(sorted when we know our income/outgoings at end nov)
4. Lose some lbs! Aiming to get under 10 stone - swimming and curling.
(started swimming - aiming for twice a week and curling once a week)
5. Get avon territory and canvass it!
(been talking to ASM, to find some houses near me and to give her the postcodes - should be sorted out soon)
6. Stash of xmas and general cards made up, and reduce craft stuff
Sorted out old craft stuff and attempting to sell on ebay
7. Cleaning rota set up - awful at doing things regualary just now.
Getting better at this - still to do a list of jobs
8. Budget for xmas set up and stuck to.
Will work on this
9. Start back clicking and freebies
Started pigsback again - aiming to get vouchers for a hotel stay next year
10. Make more productive use of free time and get a college course organised.
Doing lots of odd jobs at present in spare time so its a start.
Will start thinking of the college course for january.

Hi Katy, thanks for the thanks! I can't take credit for the link though, saw it on a link elsewhere on this forum somewhere! but it's a really good site if you're hoping to make some space and a few pennies... if your bookshelves are overflowing like mine!
Hopefully others may find it useful too, it's fairly quick and easy to get started, all you need is the books ISBN number and you can list away

where abouts in the country are you starnac? my poor dog keeps looking whistfully at the fire but i'm too tight to give in!
we're in south wales. have to admit though we live with my parents at the moment as we relocated and were unable to sell our house up north. i came home from work (i work nights) and found my step dad (who has no circulation) sat here with the fire on. so it wasn't actually me who put the fire on. i would have sat here with 5 jumpers on.
i did enjoy the warmth thoughGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

i did enjoy the warmth though
Sometimes I wish I wasn't quite so tight! It's turned FREEZING down here in Cornwall today, I'm on the sofa with 2 jumpers and my outside coat on and covered in a thick blanket! Had to put the heater on in the car this morning but only because I couldn't see out of the windows....honest!!
