My 12 week plan would be:
Week 1 (starting Sunday 20th September as just dropped son off at uni and need to get over the shock!)-just about recovered although he had had the flu so have been a bit worried!
Sort out switch for electric and gas-Have opted out of being tied into to next capped deal for now as standard variable rate exactly the same at mo-still doing research as to where to go next
Still keep onto student finance-success-they have agreed tuition and maintenence was applied for and have updated his details but the payments are still blocked so need to make sure they unblock them once they have verified son's national ins no
Get back into visiting the gym at least twice a week- went on 24th & 25th September
Week 2 27/09/09–04/10/09
Still keep onto student finance-see above-still blocked!
Re-evaluate budget and work out how to cope whilst waiting for student finance to cough up-in a bid to cope with this have resorted to cash only spending and am using emergency account at a rate of £70.00 per week(Friday-Friday) for everything for this month-got to Thursday this week then went over by £4.40 as had to buy two lots of antibiotics for me-so am deducting this from next weeks spending
Plan meals to get used to not having to feed 18year old with hollow legs!
-much easier than I thought as we eat almost anything-using up freezer contents first and plan special meal for Saturday nights-last week Sainsburys £10 meal deal-this week Sainsburys £5.00 curry meal deal which with a bottle of wine came to £8.50-can't drink now anyway as on tablets!
Get back into visiting the gym at least twice a week-Not gone this week due to being poorly

:hello: Hi all, coming in for an update at the end of week 3!
1. Cut out alcohol - not so great this week, been sampling cheap sparkly wine for the wedding! Have now chosen which one I want so back on this with a vengence!
2. Loose a stone - failing miserably....at least haven't put any weight on
3. Get all my college assignments done on time - essay plan approved and have done first 500 words. Got a web design project to do too but can't start that until next week because I haven't got a full brief.
4. Finish decorating my house - still no change herealthough have to clear out the loft by 13th October because new insulation is being done
5. Make all my xmas pressies and cards - planning a soak with my practice one tonight - watch this space! ordered card making bits from ebay yesterday, going to combine xmas cards and wedding invitation building
6. Design and make wedding invitiations, cake and favours - for invites see above, cupcake practice is planned for Tuesday and OH wants jelly beans for favours so I'm leaving that up to him!
7. Make sure wedding dress still fits and get alterations done if necessary - still building up the courage for this bit, fairly sure I'm at least one dress size bigger than the dress
Don't feel like I've achieved much this week apart from spending money on wedding stuff. Doing quite well with the weekly spend challenge, have been in credit for past two weeks which is a huge plus. I need to sit down and draw up a proper plan for this week I think and I definitely need to try on the dress as there is only six weeks to go and if it is massively too small then I'm going to have to cough up for a new one!
I'll be back later to post an action plan!Paddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840 -
End of first week:
Stop being so negative - be more active/less apathetic.
Write more, and start/finish creative projects.
Mostly fail - time of the blooming month
Get zine printed & another one finished.
Zine at printers -
*crosses fingers & wishes* please cheque don't bounce
Finish sorting through my cds - rip stray tracks and get rid of the ones I don't want any longer.(only need one more to have enough for musicmagpie)
Don't buy any more (same goes for dvds) - I have too many already and am running out of room for them.
Got enough items for musicmagpie - sale's accepted: all boxed up and waiting to go in the post.
Fail on not buying any more cds - charity shop was too tempting
Declutter house and organise things/storage.
Sell/swap unwanted items online or give to charity shops.
One bag gone to charity shop, starting to fill another,
explored some of the cardbord boxes lurking in the corners and found some old jewellery I'd thought I'd lost (charm bracelet and gold ring). I'll be sending it off on Monday to one of the cash for your gold/silver sites, and I get £15 cashback on topcashback - result :money:
Delete rubbish off my computer.
banished some unwanted music & ebooks - getting there.
Cut down on chocolate.
Tried going without - just overdid it the next day - hormones "And suddenly I find myself listening to a man I've never known before,Telling me about the sea..."0 -
I tried my wedding dress on yesterday.......its at least one dress size too small, maybe two  now panicking a lot and planning not to eat anything other than carrots for the next 6 weeks! ARGH!!Paddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840

1) do exercise dvd 4 times a week twice this week again. Must do better!
2) 4 alcohol free nights a weekthree, and I have no excuses.
3) 4 NSDs a week managed 5, which I'm very surprised at. I think it helps working somewhere where there are no shops though!
4) pay off the egg card made a couple of very small payments which is better than nothing, things are quite tight this month though0 -
1. Learn to get up earlier so I can stop taking taxis to work - only had 1 taxi last week
2. Make packed lunch at least 3 times a week - 2/3
3. Pay back the money I owe (approx £250 to my bf, approx £90 to the househould account) - paid everything back
4. Finish decorating at least one room of the flat (I seem to have started every room but finished none of them) - definitely doing this next weekend
5. Sort out and give/throw away all the stuff I don't use from my kitchen - erm...
6. Lose at least 1 stone or a dress size - i put on 1lb
7. Sort out xmas presents online in advance rather than rushing round the shops the weekend before xmas - only got a basic list so far
8. Save something towards a holiday next year (would like to have £500 by xmas) - 0/500
9. Put SOMETHING into my savings account for a house deposit. Saving has gone very badly these past few months. - put £100 in this week
So I did slightly better this week than last and at least I can cross number 3 off my list completely.0 -

So....plan for week 3:
