  • 1) drop a dress size (so I don't have to buy a new outfit for my friends wedding in 13 weeks)
    2) Pay back my mum and dad £1145.86:eek:
    3) Halve my post office credit card approx £950:eek:
    4) List on average 4 things a week on ebay (to help declutter my house!)

    5) Buy and wrap all of my Christmas presents and write my cards!

Wow - everyone's doing brilliantly on this challenge - really puts me to shame!

I'm finding it hard to keep up with this challenge - being back at work and running round after 3 small children doesn't leave much time!

But I have started to chip away at it. Managing to list things on ebal so that's helping to declutter the house.

Also noticed this morning on hotukdeals that argos are starting 3 for 2 on some of their toys tomorrow so I've been on line and reserved some to collect tomorrow once the offer starts so thats a start at the Christmas shopping!

Really looking forward to payday tomorrow too so I can have a chip away at those debts.

Just need to find some motivation for the diet now:confused:! Really must resist the chocolates in the staff coffee room!!
    20K by Xmas 2010 (10 in 10 challenge - debt):
    Debt: £799.21/£10500
    Savings: £0 / £9500

I'm being brave and embracing the geekery by doing an evening course in networking as well as my FdSc IT during the day  ...must be mad....
A networking course? Sounds interesting. Where's it being held, and what do they teach you?

A bit more progress to add - I bought two more Christmas presents today - a calendar each for DD and DS (Calendar Club is back!). Have also joined a weight loss thread on the Debt Free Diaries section so have no excuse now. Weighed myself at the weekend and am still the same weight I have been for the last few weeks. Need to lose 2¼lbs to get back to my WW goal weight so not too bad but I like to be around 5lbs under if I can - although I would be happy to just be a couple of pounds under.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

i bought some christmas cards today. DH's family always send special cards to each other. i personally think they are a waste of money but we always send them special ones back. found them today 3 for £1 so got them all for less than £2 (split with my mum). quite pleased with that
    Goals for February
    Declutter 2/50
    Money Made £0/£200
    Overpayments £0/£200

It's the CompTIA Network+ and it covers building LAN's, network operating systems (including Active Directory), hardware and internet protocols. Should be interesting! I'm in Cornwall and unfortunately they only offer it at Truro College, but further "up country" I would imagine its more widely available and I think CompTIA offer distance learning too but I'm not dedicated enough to do that :o!

Its the first session tomorrow evening, I'll let you know what its like if you want?

:rotfl: I thought I'd found a fellow wannabee geek for a minute!! If you need your wireless sorting out then I'm your gal, but I couldn't work a room if my life depended on it!!:rotfl:

Although I do know some people in the business development area, so might be able to refer you? PM me if you like!!
