  • Have achieved my four NSDs this week, which I'm really pleased with. Only 2 alcohol free days so far, and just about to crack open the wine but hey ho. Have just forced myself to do fitness DVD because I haven't done it all week so far.

    Hello all, can I join?

    my goals:
    • No alcohol nights out clubbing for the next month- I usually spend about £50 or so with entrance/drinks/taxi home & figured I will be financially alot better off even if I just dont go clubbing for a month
    • Do my final piece of coursework for my diploma :D
    • Take at least a 20 minute walk a day- walking to and from train station to work does not count.
    • Update CV & see if any p/t jobs I can fit in around my f\t- coming up to xmas so theres gotta be one someplace :D

The diet has been terrible this weekend. Hubby was home briefly yesterday  he got home at 5pm yesterday and left again at 6am this morning. So last night I ate just about everything I shouldn't have done and washed it down with over 1/2 bottle of wine.

Today I will live on porridge and skimmed milk :rotfl:

Uni starts tomorrow. I need to think about how I will manage the diet while I'm there so I don't end up in the canteen eating chips.

OK, not entirely a success here but...

    1. Get savings to 33% of target This month was never going to be good but saved a tiny bit more.
    2. Lose ten pounds - this one I'm doing rubbish on seem to have put on a couple of pounds although still losing inches.
    3. Be able to comfortably run 10K again. Getting there - ran 4.5Ks this week so next week is 5Ks and that'll be halfway to my target:D.

I have resisted 3 lunch invites this week and the takeaway urge was strong but I resisted that too so not all bad:rolleyes:.

    :hello: Hi everyone!

Update as at begining of week 3:-

    1. Cut out alcohol - managed 4 alcohol free days last week, very happy with that!
    2. Loose a stone - first weigh in tomorrow morning  then the "proper" diet and exercise plan starts!

    3. Get all my college assignments done on time - first one is due a week on Monday and I've done the essay plan ready for tutor to approve, so on course with this!
    4. Finish decorating my house - hallway done, next target is bathroom then DB's bedroom (no change here :o)
    5. Make all my xmas pressies and cards - all the bath bomb material has arrived but not sure how long they will "last" so I'm going to practice one this week and then make the xmas pressies in the last week of the challenge.

    6. Design and make wedding invitiations, cake and favours - cake sorted, going to make cupcakes so there will be a LOT of practice baking going on in my house! Invites and favours are next on the list :D
    7. Make sure wedding dress still fits and get alterations done if necessary - bit scared about this bit, so going to wait a week or so!!
    8. Do a budget to ensure we can actually PAY for the wedding :rotfl:!! - we can!! Woopwoop!! :j

Anyway, good luck to all this week, this thread is brilliant motivation!!

Well done to everyone, still 10 weeks left and we're all doing good! Personally I'm finding the planning element of the challenge very infectious and its getting to all parts of my life! I LOVE having a life plan! :D

Have a good week all xxx
