The 12 week Debt-Life *Achieve something* Plan - WEEK 7
Comments
-
End of another week (well almost!)
1. Pay £500 off debt - £161 paid so far
2. Pay/ save £500 for holidays/ Christmas/ course - £5 in savings and £115 paid towards hols/ Christmas pressies
3. Go to gym class every week - no in week one, yes in week 2!
4. Run at least 3 times a week, aim to get up to 10 miles for my weekly long run - run twice, away walking at the weekend so won't get any more done this week but happy to be getting back into it.
5. Do something constructive (apart from work!) every day - not quite every day but definitely thinking more about using my spare time usefully instead of just collapsing in front of the telly!
Hope everyone has a lovely weekendx

1 week and 1 day on...
In 12 weeks I will have:
1) Saved £1000 to pay off my overdraft, which is due to become interest paying from January. (That's on top of all my normal expenses.) Hmm...got paid last week but the money I was gping to put to one side for this needs to be used in tuition fees for uni. On the plus side, I think it's a bit less than anticipated, so I will put the rest (or as much of the rest as possible as it's a huge chunk of this month's wages) to one side.
2) Be considerably fitter, and preferably lighter as well (will calculate a figure for that later)*. Not got onto this yet. Need to make plan. Haven't stopped all week! NOT GOOD!
3) Have launched myself on a genuine career path, as opposed to just taking what comes along. Not happening until this study is over.
[EDIT]
4) Sell all my excess stuff on Ebay. 3 items down; a good start, but a drop in the ocean!
5) Buy, wrap and give all my Christmas presents. Have been thinking about what to get people, sourcing cheapest suppliers & bought 1 or 2 bits. Might get another in before work if I'm quick. Still lots to go, but I have time & am pleased at having started earlier than usual as it gives me time to look around for the best bargains.
6) Knit cardigans/blankets for all the babies my friends keep having! Not had chance to learn how to knit a row, never mind anything else! Muct get mum to show me.
12 weeks from the time of this post will be 10th December. I'll let you know how it goes!
* (17/09/09): just got a place in the London Marathon for next year so I REALLY need to work on that one! :j
Hmm...not the greatest of starts, but I've been run off my feet this week working dodgy shifts full-time (not usual for me!). I'll have to make sure I get my week plans done out on my days off, and a belated one for this week tonight as I finish at a reasonable hour, for once. On the up side. I'e never started planning for Christmas this early. so it's nice to feel in control and having loads of time to hunt out the best bargains.
Ok, so I will have to refine my aims a bit further, but I'll do that later: I need to get ready for work! xPlease call me 'Pickle'
No More Buying Books: ???
No More Buying DVDs: ???
