I'm up and dressed with no headache this morning :j:j. Still snotty & itchy, but you can't have everything!

Breakfast eaten, so I need to load the DW and S&S the kitchen, then call the garage to find out whether I need to change my tyres before or after I drive to Kent (hopefully after... I'm a bit short on time today :o

Oh yes, and I need to pack... no idea what to take with me

And I need to add mowing/gardening to my weekend list.

Good news is I've had another quote for the stuff that needs shipping to Norfolk... it's getting cheaper all the time! I'll have to PM SGT as she's not around much and thank her for putting me on to shiply as it's saved a HUGE amount of hassle!

    Back later...

Hi everyone, it's been a while! Into my 3rd week at my new job, it's very different considering it's essentially the same job just somewhere new! Finally getting into the swing of things though thankfully!

Everything has been a bit manic lately, with new job, new nephew, niece back at school, actually using my gym membership and finally discovering a social life! Since i last posted i've lost 4.7kgs - who'd have thunk exercising and eating healthier would work so well :o

Hope everyone is well, will hope to catch up with you all this evening as i have no plans other then homework with my niece, listening to her practise the recorder  and then once she's in bed i'll settle down with the laptop and read back! :D

Big hugs to those in need especially toots and Lady_L hope you're both well. Welcome all newbies, and happy birthday/anniversary where necessary that i've missed i've been rubbish at keeping up lately so forgive me :A.

morning all! another sunny one :)
i'm going to do HHC starting at 9.15 if anyone fancies it?
2 kids rooms to do so i need to get cracking- mind you after my major sort out last week i'm pleased to say they've actually kept them in pretty good order so it hopefully won't be too bad today. Got lots of paid work to catch up with though so it's still going to be a pretty full on day. See you all later- have fun!;)

  • morning flyers. feeling pretty rough again today. oh what i wouldnt ive atm to wake up full of beans! I even went to bed at 10 last night and had to drag myself out of bed at 7. Mannaged to get the kids off to school just about though so peace and quiet now. Watching jezza kyle with a cuppa then going to see if i can get up the energy to take the ironing up to the kids room and put it away. Whilst i'm up there i will give the bathroom and toilet a wash down. I am refusing to do the childrens rooms though as its just far to much. I shall print jaimee a list off for when she gets back from school and she can put away all her toys and the jase can run the hover round. The lounge needs a quick tidy up and the kitchen needs it too. Just got cherry bread out of the BM, was woken up to the smell of beef and ale stew thingy this morning as i set the sc to come on at 6, and its all you can smell in the house now!!!
Thanks for the hugs, they are very much needed right now...also some sort of energy would be nice?!!! xxxx
  • Morning all

Nice here today. So far I have done 1x WM and put it in the dryer and stuck another in, 1 more load to go and that will be me! Decluttered kids to school and while I was going through the thread DS1 appeared back he was beaten up when he got to school so he walked out and came home. He's OK but upset by it. I'm waiting for the rector to phone me back he's in a meeting just now, I could have talked to Deans principle teacher but I said no it's went too far. So organ grinder no monkeys this time.

Greenbee Have you thought of listening to your Cd's at night while you sleep??????? It's meant to work. My mum used to listen to Daniel O'Donnel in the morning getting ready for her work while as was in bed. I swear I have never listened to his 'music' but was in my aunts and she was playing it and I knew the words:eek:

  • Morning -

Off to a good start. Kids are fed and dressed. I have stain soaked my tops for an hour and now got the WM on. The living room/dining room and kitchen have all been hoovered. I didn't move the settee or coffee table and stuff, but DS1 is a bit scared of the hoover so i was trying to do it quickly, also DS2 kept turning the hoover off. Nice to be helped.

Dining table and chairs have been scrubbed.

I can't believe how much difference i can make to the house in a short time, so my motivation is high at the minute even if my energy levels are struggling to keep up. Think i am going to follow AnW's mums dot-to-dot method and try and keep what i have done clean-ish and build upon it.
