    Morning all,

Ds2 went into nursery without a backwards glance, i'm sure he's going to love it. I drop DS1 & DSS off at school at 8.30 and Ds2 has to be at nursery at 9.00, as it's only a 5 min drive from school to nursery we would have been far too early and there was no point in going home, so i parked in town and me and Ds2 walked to nursery. I've just realised that my godfather has a swimming pool and the sun is shining today :D. However, it does mean that emergency work is required on my bikini line :o

Saturday is now partly organised - a friend is coming over, we're going out to lunch & then for a walk, so my list is gradually going down!

  • i've made a cuppa, which i am happily suppin now. Checked the beef an ale stew in the slow cooker(only second time using it! made carrot soup yest) and made some dumpling(first time!!!!!!) and chucked them in. They are happily floating in the cooker now. The meat was such a cheap cut and it is sodding GORGEOUS! i love my slow cooker!!!!!!! Anyways, just a little advice-the stew is very watery, the gravy is stunning and filled with flavour so i could freeze some excess and use it again but what can i add to thicken it up a little?
Does anyone have a nice easy rec'sip for some biscuits? I dont fancy twinks, and chocolate concreat is far too much for me to do right now, so when the kids get back i was going to get them to do a simple batch of biscuits
Ive also put on a load of darks and keep staring at the clothes on the sofa which need putting away! Oooo and added the stuff to my wine to finish it off, should be ready to add the finnins and addback tomorrow and be ready to drink by sat! x

    Morning all!

I did try to join in this week but as we have a decorator in sanding off the artex on the hall stairs and landing it just isn't worth it! Fine white dust everywhere! it even got over dh's remote control helicopter - and you know what men are like about their toys (he is not a happy bunny! OOOps!) I will be back as son as the worse is over!

Hope you are all having a good week (have yet to catch up on thread) and big ((((hugs)))) to those that need one.

    Catz x

Bikini line emergency dealt with ... thank goodness for epilators, and they don't hurt nearly as much when you're in a hurry!

No time to stop and get tyres sorted :o but they're still just OK so I promise I'll get them done tomorrow.

Cleaned the loo, bath, shower, tiles, sink etc. but bath needs a proper scrub over the weekend.

    See you tomorrow!!
