    Afternoon all

One load of washing on the line, blowing well.

    Kitchen etc done
    (yesterday)

Spent some time on the garden moving stuff about and I plan to do some more after Neighbours.

Haven't caught up yet today but I did read about Lady L last night, I am so sorry to hear that but you know, where there's life there's hope and we'll all be hoping as hard as we can for you.

Hi guys, back from sons school where i spoke to the assistant head of year about the spitting incident in sons lunch, she agreed it was filthy and disgusting and said the dinner lady should have given him something and told him to bring the money in the next day, she is going to talk to him to see if he can identify anyone that was around and for him to point out the dinner lady to him so she can have a word.

Had to go into daughters school for a curriculum meeting at 9am, then sat having a coffee with a friend(Donna). One of our friends has been diagnosed with cervical cancer and another one said to Donna " dont touch her as the bacteria that causes cervical cancer can be passed on"
I am livid at what she said, she thinks just because her mum is a nurse abroad she knows it all, anyway i thought it was a virus similar to the herpes complex one that was involved with cervical cancer transmitted by sexual contact?????

Have had a tea and a calm down.

  • Thanks again Mum on a Mission. - The home planner looks good. Most close to the Flylady calendar. I'm not a fan of family planners with individual sections for each member of the family as often activities overlap or more than one person needs to be aware. My personal tip is to have a different colour highlighter pen for each family member. You then for example write swimming and highlight it in the appropriate colour. Writing the name wastes space and you get check out all the things written in your colour easily and quickly. Particularly good to get dad and kids using calendar. My other tip with the calendar is to put it at eye level at the kitchen table.

Does anyone have any idea how I estimate the weight of a dresser and dining table? Apparently I need it to get quotes for shipping  I suppose I could look at the Ik*a catalogue and pick something at random...

And I can't find the USB cable that fits my camera  I may have disposed of it in a fit of efficiency, so I'm going to have to find out what I need and go shopping.

Otherwise - clean bedding folded and put away, another load of washing in, more stuff cleared from the kitchen table, some stuff on the landing put away, dresser & table measured and photographed!

Got a bit distracted there by cleaning - that has never happened before! Anyways I :-

    Cleared draining board
    Washed up
    Put wash on
Moved dry clothes to the ever growing ironing pile
    Tidied LR
Hoovered LR and rugs in hall
    Watered/polished plants

Now off to mop hall and thats level 1 for yesterday done! x x

Have worked out rough weights for furniture, and found out what kind of cable I need for my camera, so off shopping to find the cable so I can finally get this stuff shifted and I then won't have an excuse for putting off the woodstove work either...

I also need to work out how I STILL have junk in the garage - there's a box of crockery/kitchen bits on top of the freezer... I guess I should freecycle it this week and get it over and done with!

And if I'm going shopping I guess I should do a tip run
  • Not to worry about laughing. I was too, once rescued. I am glad to give you a bit of light relief!

I really am a liability when trying to do things that I really know I shouldn't even try.

Today I am behaving myself. Doing a touch of dusting etc.

Bedroom carpet laid. Ive washed all the paintwork and cleaned the windows. Most of the furniture is back in. just having a lunch break.

Have been next door to complain. Son cant remember what he has done. Mother and son blaming each other. Seems like drugs are involved by both of them as well. I have had a bit chat to them both.

Will have lunch then finish bedroom.
