There's still not much point doing things in the front room, as it's still a hell-hole of plaster dust and tools mid-renovation.

I keep looking at my 'mood board' stuck to the wall for inspiration as to what it will look like.

I'm off work today, so am heading into Toon in a bit to -

    wax appointment
get car valeted - £11, not v MSE, but there just aren't enough hours in the day
buy foundation and undereye cream from Boots
Buy props - tshirts, gloves, hat

I'm doing a photoshoot with a friend tomm who is doing a project on dancers, so I'm hitting the charity shops today for props and bits 'n' pieces.

Bit nervous but I'm sure the magic of Photoshop will carry me through!

Morning everyone. Ive not had much sleep because of next door again. Found out from the newsagent this morning the lad had smashed the house up. His mother had called the police and they have told her to ring social services today. Not sure what they can do as he is 16.

The carpet fitters are here so once they have finished I will start flying. I did most of the kitchen on Sunday so will do the rest later. Bathroom has been S&Sed and Ive done some filing.

  • Just checking in here for the first time this week.

I spent all day yesterday on Freecycle jobs and I am shattered.

Except when I tried to clean down the back of the desk where the old cat had had a bit of an accident down the wall and the printer:eek:

I bent over the desk and got stuck, my back locked and I spent about ten minutes with my face on the pooey desk.:rotfl::rotfl:

    If I get cat flu.........

DH rescued me, put me in my super comfey computer chair with a cup of tea and I sat there with my rubber gloves on with a cat hairy face:rotfl::rotfl:

So today, I am going to 'stay in my cylinder'. No stretching up or away from me and no bending other than at the knees.
