    Morning all

PC has been acting up so I have struggled to post anything, just caught up this morning.

The hugest of hugs to you LL I can't imagine how you must have felt BUT you do remind me of Jane Tomlinson. She was given a terrible prognosis but showed everyone that this disease does not have to rob you of everything. I suspect you will not take this lying down but fight all the way. As many others have said we are right here behind you shouting and encouraging every step of the way.

I have read all the posts but can't remember who needs what :o so everyone have a hug all round. The only thing I do remember is RP wanted a kick from toots this morning, so in her absence I here by administer a KICK as per request :p
hing us so we had better get our stars
Anw'smum I forgot to ask how did Miss A get on in her staring roll the other day?

Aw thanks for asking, she did great and W took part by being chief microphone holder :rotfl: I however may have been branded a troublemaker :rotfl: as I confronted someone who was part of the service (doing a reading) for turning up 10 minutes after the service had started. I told her it was not acceptable to be so late, the service starts at 9.30 and 50 other people managed to turn up on time! She lives 3 minutes away and is always late. She caused several people to be quite anxious and panicky which piled more pressure on those individuals. I was prepared to do her reading (thankfully no awkward words/pronunciations!) in her absence. Given that we are in interregnum it is difficult enough to keep things running smoothly without people like this adding to the pressure.

Oops sorry about that rant over!

Flying, done 1 x WM 1 x TD, unloaded DW and dealt with the post.

  • Good morning! I've been up for ages but DH is home this morning because it's raining - it's so dark it feels like evening not 11am! We've got all the lights on, it's ridiculous. Anyway, I've been very good this morning - have tidied LR floor and got out a big storage wooden box that I'm going to sort through in a mo - and guess what! DH is ironing! :T

I was supposed to be going out this morning, but my friend had a bad night and isn't up to it today so I'm concentrating on pre-visitor tidying and sorting and cleaning!

It started raining, so bedding is now in the TD... although the rain seems to have stopped . I'll bung the last load of washing in now, so at least it's out of the way for a bit.

I've put new batteries in the camera, so should be able to get on with the measuring/photographing, and as I'll have to move stuff out of the way I'll probably have more things to take to the tip/freecycle (if anyone wants a rickety pasting table, let me know!)

DS was fine with his school bus yesterday but today we put his school shirt on which he was v upset with so was crying this morning, once he is used to it he will love it because it is the same everyday which is all he wants but it is just getting him used to it in the first place that is difficult!
