I am livid at what she said, she thinks just because her mum is a nurse abroad she knows it all, anyway i thought it was a virus similar to the herpes complex one that was involved with cervical cancer transmitted by sexual contact?????
That is shocking. It is always amazing that in this day and age, with all the information available to people that some can still be so ingnorant!!:mad:business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

DS still being a bit of a naughty boy so been a frantic morning, hopefully he will have a wee nap so I can put my feet up and knit/snooze for a bit!

Rosepink I'm gonna buy you a black flippin pen! I'm sick of seeing it on your list of extras :rotfl:
Dusty, hope your DS is better soon

Greenbee, why are you shipping a dresser?
Well, my HHC turned into an hour long C. I've finished clearing out the wooden storage box - I've filled a black sack with paper to be recycled, a big pile of paper to shred, about 5 things to file in the paperwork cupboard, and a few empty printer cartridges that I need to find out how to recycle. And a rucksack of stuff for DH to sort out as I don't know what he wants done with them. And an allen key that neither of us know what its for.
So I'm really happy with that. I've decided to hoover it out and then store our bedding in there, as then the bedding wont be near an outside wall and might not be mildewy over the winter. The box was only used as a place to hide mess quickly when visitors came! It's good that's it's been sorted out at last. It needed it! So I've done another hot spot. Hurrah!
Going to relax now, probably going to have a nap. Haven't started on my dailies yet, but am not worried as I've acheived a big thing and am very happy about that. And DH has ironed so that's good too.
Does anyone have problems with ebay at the moment - I keep trying to relist an item, it asks me to sign in, and when I do, it just goes back to the page asking me to sign in - this happens endlessly until I get fed up and give up."Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Weight lost since 9 June 2009: [STRIKE]5.5[/STRIKE] 6 lbs0 -
Before I head off to the tip (boot is full - a sawn up door, tetrapaks, electrical bits & a garden bag full of dead rosemary) and the shops..
My mum has just called to say she's clearing out prior to getting rid of some furniture, and has a binbag full of fabric that might be of use to someone who does patchwork. Any takers who can collect from North West Norfolk or Hampshire (or anywhere between Newbury & Egham, seeing as I'm back to work soon)???
ETA - Rose, I'm shipping the dresser & table back to my parents as I don't need them at the moment, and they have room to store them for me.0 -

And had lunch. The sun came out briefly, but now it looks like rain again. I may actually hem another of the curtains for the living room this afternoon - I really would like to finish off all the bits that I meant to do at the end of the summer holiday.
thifty - Good luck with OFSTED.
toots - nice to see you posting again - I missed you!
Lady-Liberty - I echo what the others have said, love and hugs, and loads of hoping from me too.

hello all you lovely flyladies! :j
Haven't been on for a long while but I've not been idle, honestly! I've been busy decluttering like mad which is really weird because last week - quite out of the blue - I decided to move house! Thank goodness I'd already done so much decluttering and lots of lovely freecyclers have taken my [STRIKE]rubbish[/STRIKE] really usefull stuff off my hands.the main job now is to declutter christmas decorations and a general sort and throw which is not so intense.
To everyone who's sent me messages, requests etc on fb - I promise I will answer and get into it a bit more soon but I really need to concentrate on clearing the decks because I'm determined to not move with clutter this time!
I'll be back to do some flying soon and will try to catch up on the news. Hope all are well, hugs to anyone who needs one... don't throw the string away. You always need string!
