You are right.
- mobiles.co.uk is staffed by one guy called Ben - or maybe more than one but all called Ben.
- He/they does everything himself from answering/ignoring the phone, coming on this forum, paying/not paying cashbacks from his own pocket and writing endless versions of the t & c
- Compensation is not organised by Ben, but by the tooth fairy (who is NOT called Ben)
- All the Bens are in breach of the working time directive and work a 7 day week for the sole purpose of turning postmen away on Saturdays.
- The Bens have total failure of memory for, the minute he/they promise anything, he/they then forget about it. (They/he used to talk to himself to pass on messages from one persona to another but not now after extensive therapy.)
- Marketing runs finance and customer services in every major company in the world and marketing Ben is Customer Services Ben's boss as well as Finance Director Ben's chief as well. He must be Big Ben then !
- That's the answer. Big Ben strikes on the hour and that must be what happened. He was on strike. Problem solved.

2. 15 Oct 09 (covering 15 Oct - 14 Nov 09)
and so on
3. 15 Nov 09
4. 15 Dec 09
5. 15 Jan 10

7. 15 Mar 09
8. 15 Apr 10 (CB2 as far as I am concerned).
9. 15 May 10
10. 15 Jun 10 (CB3 as far as I am concerned).
11. 15 Jul 10
12. 15 Aug 10 (CB4 as far as I am concerned). - Last bill as this is a 12 month contract.
I sent them this breakdown and asked them to confirm correct.
Reply took 4 days and said:
"You need to send the following bills WITHIN 30 days of their bill dates:
Mar 10
May 10
July 10
Sep 10
So I have emailed back stating that I will not have a bill dated Sep 10 as it is a 12 month contract and asked them to confirm that my dates/bills are correct.
Plus I seem to remember Ben saying that their terms had changed to 60 DAYS to send bills?I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!0 -
If they ignore or say they are correct I will send in the bills I stated.
If they do not pay I will give them 7 days and then take legal action.
I think a judge might be very interested in them asking me to send a bill dated Sep 10 when I will not have one due to it being a 12 month contract.

Your dates are wrong; it would be the March bill for the first claim etc. Remember, cpw companies all interpret their t&c differently to one another. This one means six months and not five (which you may well have been used to with E2Save). Also, you should receive a bill in September provided you aren't on T-Mobile. Then they would have made it impossible for you to claim with a September bill unless you deliberately spend more than you have to on a 12 month contract.0

MJ is right as, although line rental is in advance, calls are in arrears. So make sure you have at least 1 chargeable call in the last month for belt and braces.0

They have had to - Ofcom brought in a directive to crack down on rogue retailers restrictive cashback conditions. All other cpw companies voluntarily altered to 60 days some time ago.
But you will be covered by the ts + cs which were in force when you made your purchase, which will explain why they only are giving you "30" days.0 -

How? - the contract will end on 14 Sep 09.I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!0 -
It will then produce a final bill. If you're on O2, Orange or Vodafone (you obviously can't be on the latter since they bill for a calendar month) you will get a final bill anyway.0

They have just emailed me again stating their dates are correct. I have sent back stating that I WILL NOT receive a bill in Sep as my last one will cover period 15 Aug to 14 Sep and will be dated 15 Aug!!
Arrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh
If they reply with same message I will inform them that I will be contacting trading standards.I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!0
