Hi, i for one have never had an application for contract phone accepted by mobiles.co.uk but maybe im a first. My claim definitely was not fraudulent and, if nothing else, was probably to honest.
My most recent application was on 19th September 2009 for a cheap LG Cookie and was still refused.
Im happy for the Mobiles.co.uk rep to private message me if he wishes this confirmed.

Trying not to jump on the wagon but i recieved an email from them saying

Hello,

Thank you for your recent order.

All of our applications for contract mobile phones have to be passed to the network you selected for a credit check. Unfortunately in this instance the network declined the application, so we have no choice but to cancel your order.

But I ordered a PAYG LG Cookie, i wasnt applying for a contract ><

Hi Trevor,
The problems going to be whilst your waiting for a reply the clock is ticking and eating into your 14 days for returning.
Another problem too is the fact you bought the phone for your OH for Christmas so means it's going to be sat there for a few months before then and She starts using it ??? so whats going to be the situation if its found to befaulty then and whats going to be her reaction when she finds out it's got a dubious history ????

What did you ask him - the missing memory card?

The longer you leave it - the less likely you can return that phone (which you say you like) but to me it would seem to be a clearance phone.
