Already had a breadmaker, slow cooker and stick blender but have bought stardrops, lots and lots of microfibre cloths, and lots of little notebooks as i seem to have developed a list making fetish lately.
I have lists of everything from prices, recipes, shopping lists,to do lists, you name it and I have probably got it written down in a list somewhere. DH and DD are finding it hilarious.

I was brought up using Stardrops, my Mum always used it :)
I do confess to buying a waffle maker, which I thought would gather dust but has actually been used lots. We make up large batches of waffles then freeze them for Sunday morning indulgent breakfasts :D
We had a BM, a food processor and a juicer already but they are used far more.
Microfibre cloths I had masses of, but I used them for cleaning the sink and the bathroom, mainly because they were colour coded. Now I use them in lots of other ways too.
Not got a slow cooker, although I was given one as a wedding gift, I gave it to my sister when the kids went on to solids as it was only a small one. I'm not sure I would use one now. The oven timer is far too efficient!
I always tried to grow a few tomatoes and salad but now I have tomatoes, lettuce, masses of herbs and squash growing in our rather small garden ~ one day I will have a much smaller house with a much bigger garden......

I'm off to look for microfiber cloths today, and I already used vinegar for my windows etc.

I tell you one thing this board has made me "do"..... last night I dreamt about kefir grains

What has reading this board done to me???? lol
  • rotfl what exactly did that dream involve looby? Did you grow and grow and split and grow...?

Really just a slow cooker, so far :o
(and a day pass to Blackpool Pleasure Beach :D - which cost more than the slow cooker  )

Didn't have to spend anything on a breadmaker because Ticklemouse gave me her old one for free :D

When I get my own place I will need various utensils I don't already own, including a stick blender (and I hanker after a proper food processor!), set of kitchen knives, and various other things - but ATM I share these with my housemate who already had them when I moved in. Also, he tends to do most of the household cleaning products shopping (though I share the cost) but when I live on my own I'll probably go mad with the Stardrops/microfibre cloths/vinegar!

I'm a little bit ashamed to say that I do not see myself EVER owning a sewing machine (the only time I have ever used one, I broke it :o)
