  • To be fair, it was the beeb that reported the possibility of pulping...

Saw it on the news last night, I believe there are about 8 locations in London affected by strikes.

what do you think given RM's legal obligations under the USO?
  • I dont know all the ins and outs to be honest, but i thought it was illegal for anyone to tamper with anyones mail, i was lead to believe they HAVE A LEGAL obligation to us the public :eek:

well in which case why do you think they would get away with destroying mail?
that level of backlog can be easily cleared in overtime.
however after IA ,RM wont be paying it
IA is also a great get out clause for RM concerning any issues over the next few monthy regardless of the outcome

The BBC mentioned pulping it i believe( see previous posts) a worrying thought for the public if they were allowed to do this. Hopefully it will all be sorted out with overtime.

Maybe, maybe not. I'm a subscriber to Amazon Prime and after the ongoing non-delivery and inconvenience will now only order using the next-day service with a courier. P45s for posties - brought it upon themselves!

what has that to do with points raised in my post?
you see heres the thing many dont grasp.
the management make the cuts, they make the decisions whats covered.
yesterday when i got back to the office,i get met by 0 managers in the building.
2 posties on duty dealing with customer collections
7 SD items left in the locker undelivered for an unknown reason.
so all the managers are off home,im an hour past my finish time.
who would be the reason for those failed SD items?
  • The whole of the GB needs a shake up imo, its always the workers that suffer and work for slave labour wages, while as we all know them that does the least gets the most, MP's included :mad::mad:

  • With people crying out for work why dont they take on temporary staff to get rid of the backlog, they may as well start early with Crimbo coming up, it will be good practice for them should they want to stay on for Xmas.
Some bloke has £20,000 outstanding to his business in the form of cheques in the post, how can they pulp the post, thought it was an offence to destroy/tamper with post???
