I am sure I remember e-bay sending out am email to us to give us the info too tho can't find it at the moment.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
There's a bit on Radio 2 about the strikes at the moment0

Here's the link to the BBC article I saw yesterday. (In my defence, they do mention "pulping" at one point!)

I think the mail had a headline of 20 million items held up yesterday, then in the news they disputed that and said it was about 2 million items held up in London and more at other depots across the country.0

The strikes have been on for weeks and are in different areas on different days to cause maximum chaos. I posted an e bay purchase to Scotland on Aug.26 and it hasn't arrived yet.0

looking at those pictures the mail under the posties frames is nothing
the yorks of mail(the big trolleys) could be from anything and again no massive amount vs normal mail0 -
Hi, I live in the West Midlands and posted something on the 1st September and it still hasn't been received yet. I did know there were ongoing postal strikes in London as i have family there, but didn't realise it would affect the whole country. It was only when i went on to a different website to order something that is in Scotland was i told that it is affecting the whole country. So i think just wait a bit longer as something i posted on the 25th August was only received yesterday and don't forget the last weekend of August was a bank holiday in England, so there is probably a back log from that too.0

According to the union on the radio apparently they're all doing us a favour by going on strike?!0

Thanks for all the comments.
I think the ones about strikes and the rights and the wrongs are best left for another day.
My point was, is it unreasonable to say that if something is paid for on 2nd Sep and seller quotes it will be posted 1st class recorded delivery to arrive before 7th Sep and its still not here then I have a complaint.
Looked at the item on my won page and its not even down as being posted yet so methinks strikes are a smokescreen for a lazy seller.0 -
