Is there anyway I can get a link, or a down load of that sky one cat programme, it sounds really interesting.0

If I saw someone acting as the person above I would report them to the RSPCA - its cruel and ununeccesary.
I agree with hissing at the kitten. You need to be assertive and by making out you are the dominant one, hissing at her and making sure you have the last hiss (word) makes you the alpha one. I know it works with dogs and im sure cats are the same.0 -
My youngest Bengal cat is the same. Our JRT and other Bengal cats are covered in little scabs from his claws when they play and me and the kids have scratches all over us. They do grow out of it as they get older. My oldest Bengal has and she was a nightmare but if you laugh or encourage the way they go rough with you then they will never learn. At least mine is gradually learning that when we say no then it stops.0

The programme is on sky one and I think my episode will be on 11th August. SKy online charge you to watch it on the computer, I dont know if there is any where you can get it.
You really have to watch the show to understand how extreame her biting and dislike of people was.Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.0 -
Why dont you try and buy some of thos little toys which you put cat treats in, and i no this sounds kind of mean but if two cats fight you spray them with a little bit of water, so maybe every time your kitty does the stcrathy to youm maybe spray her with a tiny bit of water!
hope this helps0 -
I've found for kittens and small cats, the best clippers to use are the ones Boots make for clipping babies' nails.
They can be concealed in your hand so aren't as frightening as you going at them with a pair of proper scissor-type clippers .. plus, you are really only taking the tip off so these do the job ever so well.
I had my vet order me some of the same clippers he uses (they are like little scissors) but Snowy is more relaxed when I use the baby ones.0 -
glad you found the show was helpful. Those who will not reason, are bigots, those who cannot, are fools, and those who dare not, are slaves. - Lord Byron0
