The highway code is avaliable online, I dont actually own it.
No one would crash into my car, they will join the motorway (or slam on their brakes if they dont know how to join a motorway correctly).
I would move over if it was safe to do so. I would never "give way".
In that case I owe you an apology. I thought you were being sarcastic.
Sound like you drive like most normal people.
Just think people have different ways of phrasing things.Iva started Dec 2018.0 -

I don't have to resit it I never took it. Think I have been driving a bit longer than you then.
I am not saying slam your brakes on and let someone onto the motorway. If you are going at an appropriate speed then you will probably go past them before they come to the end of the slip road to enter onto the motorway.
If you have a Lorry up your !!!! it an indication you are driving too slowly.
Go a bit faster. I also think you have anger problems. maybe you should not be in a car.Iva started Dec 2018.0 -
Women!!! (And I'm one too!)
One was braking for no reason, driving 20mph on a 30 road for ages before I could move infront of her, when I did, I saw she was reading a magazine on her lap!!!!

I think the confusion lies in the part of the highway code that suggests you speed up to match motorway traffic, but also give way to traffic already on the motorway... luckily most motorists are able to exercise common sense and move over into the middle lane.
I've found myself in the unfortunate position a few times of trying to enter the motorway from a slip-road, there being unsufficent gap for me to slot in amongst traffic already on the motorway, traffic behind me speeding up to motorway speeds and me fast running out of slip-road ahead!0 -

Foreign lorry drivers in left hand drive lorries, taxi drivers, bus drivers, school run mums, chavs on the A10, and people who veer on to your side of the road leaving you absolutely no room.Try to imagine nothing ever existed...0

Bike test passed in 1970, car test in 73, OK

Not if they automatically speed up to 70 and just sit there

It is easy to get bogged down in the inside lane, not an indication of any driver fault

My anger is from the fact that you fail to understand the fact that when joining a motorway, the onus is on YOU to merge or blend in with traffic, got a problem with thatI like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
