you get good and bad in all age / job / gender / car type .

The 2 worst groups of drivers are what i call the ditherers and the only car on the road crowd .

    Ditherers generally
    • Hesitate at roundabouts and junctions
    • brake unessarily at anything except a totally straight strech of road
    • pootle along country lanes at 40 mph and the do the same 40mph through 30 mph villages
    • get the in the wrong lane at roundabouts
    • don't understand Box junctions

Only Car on the road crowd :
    • Stop in clearways and main roads , causing obstruction.
    • Double park
    • Never indictate at roundabouts , or when turning left
    • Don't understand box junctions
    • hog the middle lane
    • attempt to cut in at the last minute in traffic queues

you know who you are . if the driving test was harder you could all still be on the bus
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:
  • yes, on the motorway i drive mainly in straight lines, on the country roads its a bit more twisty.
i wont lie and tell you i drive at 30 on coutry roads, i drive to suit the conditions, when they are good i drive fast, when they are poor i slow down to suit them.
and seen as your concerned with the horses i alwasy pass them very slowly and as wide as possible, i sometimes even get a wave from the rider to say thanks.
Tell the truth! You only slow up so you get a good look at the neat bottom in the tight jodpurs!

  • Well, what an enjoyable read I have had tonight! I've not laughed so much for ages!

I'm tempted to go for worst drivers as School run mums in X5, followed closely by School run mums in ML Mercedes.

But........ last couple of nights driving home from work I have had difficulty hearing Chris Evans on the radio due to idiots in Peugeot 206's with their boots full of speakers and all I can hear is that 'BOOM BOOM BOOM' beat all the blasted time... Thank goodness they are not on the roads in the morning when I've got Terry on, I could miss the Janet and John stories! That would be unforgivable - he's doing one tomorrow morning for those interested... :D

Caravanner's, why anyone would want to tow a naff B&B behind them is beyond me, stop in a chuffing hotel.

I could understand someone buying a winnebago but a caravan never.

and while I am at it, the people who drive those fiat people carriers that look like deformed dolphins, they are always terrible drivers, who dont have a clue what is going on around them.

This is probably my favourite gripe out of the lot so far! I hate those vehicles and have never before seen them described so aptly! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
