By the way, some stupid cow in a mercedes sat up my backside for most of my commute home tonight, so annoying.
national speed limit for vans under 3.5 ton is 70 on motorway. on dual carriageways its 60. single carriageway is 50.
they arent all restricted though,it isnt law (but im sure it will be soon enough,we are slowly but surely all becoming robots, even our ipods are restricted to less than the yanks!)...work permit granted!0 -
Well I was driving home in my new M class tonight & some old biddy in a crappy Focus was dawdling along & wouldn't let me overtake her:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

MrsE I was with you until that point, You went for the M class  take it back and swap it for a G-Class preferably with a badge on the back that says Brabus, then you can not only blast away from the riff raff with their focus RS, you can drive straight over one.0 -

I haven't really got an M class, I wish:D
Jeannie said a woman in a Merc was tailgating her.
I got a humble 3 door Grand Vitaria (but I got the VTT+ "something like that" model).

The 350 Z just could not keep up with it, its in gear acceleration was pretty rapid.
If it was the RS, it has to be an 09 reg or it had a personalised plate.Genie

You really don't want to wish for one of those - trust me. Wait until Mercs have upped their game before you buy one.
Humble my ar5e. We all know that you drive a Cayenne so stop the pretence. I must say that I have never come across a Cayenne driver that couldn't handle the vehicle and they were good drivers. Not including you MrsE. Also Land Cruiser drivers seem generally to be good - and they do seem to have a lot of mud on them and use them for their purpose.
My pet hate today is young pillocks in peugeot 206's who have no regard for other road users and have only one speed - fast, or attempted fast I should say. Usual loud music blasting so that they are unable to hear emergency vehicles approaching, can't see them either as they are out of their heads on cannabis or something..... and there is always four of them, the two squashed in the back are trying to look cool, but can't quite make it.Genie
