What do you ladies wear at home?
When I come back from work I can't wait to get out of my shoes, clothes (including the bra!) and relax in an old t-shirt and torn jeans or a wide, shapeless dress, with flip-flops on my feet. Not a very fashionable or sexy look! Although it works well for cooking and cleaning (but the garments often get stained in the process)...
Please suggest some at-home outfits that would make me feel more of a domestic goddess!
For info, I'm tall, size 20ish (apple shaped) and in my late thirties.
Thanks!

greenfingered - oldstyle - grabbit0 -
usually stockings and a sexy baby doll nighty!! SIZE=1]in Mr Always dreams[/SIZE
In reality jogging bottoms and one of Mr Always t-shirts.0 -
I wear jogging bottoms and some cheapo Primark t-shirts, slippers and maybe a hoody if it's cold.
I don't wear any underwear, so it can sometimes be embarassing when someone comes to the door, like today when I had to sign for something and I was there for ages and it was probably really obvious that I wasn't wearing a bra.0 -
On weeknights I always slip my PJs on and if I'm not not going anywhere special at the weekend I wear some olive-coloured combats with one of my dozens of black rock-band T-shirts and a hoodie.0

We were talking about this in the 'What are you wearing?' thread - pop over there to hear about the clothes we love but would never wear out of the house!
I wear soft harem pants with cotton tees and long boyfriend cardigans, or leggings with knee high socks and baggy tops. Right now I'm wearing leggings with pockets on the sides (ASOS, £8), a long, baggy black and white striped tee (Primark, £4) and a blue cotton longline cardigan (Primark, £10) with white ankle socks.
I'd go for natural fibres and seamless cuts for maximum comfort.0 -
I have a fantasy about lounging around in cashmere pajamas, sipping martinis0

I'm the same! Can't wait to get changed when I get home and go braless.
In summer I wear the same as you - loose cotton dress and flip flops or bare feet, love it! In winter I wear combats/leggings/PJ bottoms with a t-shirt/jumper/hooded cardi. I will happily change into my PJs once it's dark if I'm not going anywhere for the rest of the evening (it's unseemly to be in one's PJs in daylight imho).
I am open to suggestions too!GrammarGirl wrote: »We were talking about this in the 'What are you wearing?' thread - pop over there to hear about the clothes we love but would never wear out of the house!

I can heartily recommend kaftans for comfort and practicality. They're quite attractive too.0

I wear trackie bottoms and big t shirts and I always wear socks! I look such a mess at home but I do love to be comfy! Plus I'm always spilling things so I would wreck all my clothes if I wore them about the house!0
