    This looks like a lounging on the sofa kinda thing to me rather than an item of clothing, from the picture anyway. I guess you'd be getting the draughty hospital gown effect around the nethers if you only wore this!:rotfl:

    Oooo god! I think Im weird! I get showered and dressed at half 6 in the morning, and what Im wearing stays on til I go to bed that night!

    Do a lot of people wear 'houseclothes' then?

    I'm the same Vik.

    But if I have jeans on I will sometimes change in the evenings into a pair of soft leggings I bought to wear in the house in the evenings.

    a pair of knee length leggings with loose fitting night shirt or normal baggy tshirt, (I dont do bra and knickers when indoors), flip flops off unless i'm walking round the house, or this old grandma style cotton nightie (i'm only in my early 30s), again no bra and knickers, no bling. hair's usually at its messiest.

    sometimes i'll just wrap a beach towel round.

    What a fantastic thread :j

    I've spent my whole life having the mick taken out of me by my family because I have "house clothes"! For me, as soon as I get in, clothes come off, bra comes off, and a t shirt and trackie b's go on. I would never leave the house like this and my family find it hilarious when I say I'll have to change out of my house clothes to nip to the shop or whatever. Now I feel totally vindicated by this thread!!

    I love that some people put PJs on for lounging and take them off before bed! :)
    I do that :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::o

    They look fantastic - but none of the pics I saw showed anyone standing! Would it be a nightmare walking around in them??

  • I couldn't figure out whether those slankets were really long or sewn along the bottom like a sleeping bag. If it's the sleeping bag, how do people get around?

    What a great thread!!

    If Im off work and not going anywhere, I will wear my skanky trackie bottoms (the ones that have shrunk in the wash :rotfl:) and one of my casual t-shirts - I have casual and smarter casual t-shirts, with a pair of fluffy socks. When I come in from work, if I've been on an early I usually have something to eat, then a bath and put my PJ's on, and if I've been on a late I will put my PJ's on as its bedtime!!
    I definitely dont wear jeans though - same if Im travelling, they are impossible to get comfortable in!
