Now THAT's minging!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek: Running kit/gym kit is the one thing I do wash after one wear. Ugh ugh ugh!
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I go so fast only I can smell me - weirdly it doesnt smell actually - but then I do 75% of my training at a pace where I dont sweat much...
My trainers are another matter :eek::eek:0 -
I love how everyone has a different 'after work' routine and how we're all shocked that people don't do it just like we do! :rotfl:
I love lounging clothes but one thing I don't do is 'slob out'. Like piratefairy, I couldn't bear to wear PJs all day or not shower/do my hair/put makeup on. Even on lazy Sundays I'll do all that then stick my comfy clothes on and sit on the sofa watching films! I like comfort but I'm not scruffy.
I think perhaps piratefairy and I are one and the same - I have a huuuuge PJ habit and every trip to Primark ends with a fab new pair! How do we feel about matching in bed? I hate to wear mismatched PJs, so I tend to buy fun, patterned bottoms and white cotton tops rather than matching sets.
I think, as well as comfort, for me it's about recognising the end of the working day. I wear normal, everyday clothes for work and if I wore them right through to bedtime I'd feel like I was still 'ready' to work or like I couldn't shake off the working day. If I'm going out after work I get changed and if I'm staying in after work I get changed, because then I really feel like I've finished for the day!

I couldn't wear PJs all day either, I would feel awful! :rotfl: I love putting them on in the evening, esp on a cold winter's night, but not all day.
I can't actually cope with not leaving the house all day either. I have to get out or I feel as if the day's been wasted, no matter how bad the weather! I think it's from my mum always putting us out to play and telling us fresh air was sooo good for us!
So when I am in the house, I'll always make sure I'm clean and dressed. I wouldn't wear makeup just for sitting reading on the couch, I'll just brush my teeth, wash and moisturise. In summer I'llput on just a light cotton dress (no undies usually
) and bare feet or flip flops. In winter I'm a little slobbier but the worst I would get is PJ bottoms with a t-shirt. Usually it's combats/cords with a woolly jumper, snuggly!

Oh but your laundry bill must be huge!!! And your electric!!!! And your clothes will wear out really fast!!! And what about dry clean only clothes????
Seriously, unless you've been sweaty or gotten dirty then most things will manage two wears, especially if you don't have them on all day. White t-shirts and shirts generally need doing every time. Pants & Socks obviously get done every time but skirts and outer jumpers/cardis especially don't need doing every time.
Are you one of those who washes their towels after every use too???
:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o You lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....

Lol..Sorry to disappoint, but the mismatching is the end of our PJ sisterhood!! I usually go for the long trouser PJs, and an oversize tshirt, usually some of the Crafty Couture ones from Topshop or a band tshirt from a gig..Don't like sleeping in a vest top for some reason it feels odd..
Here's one that provided mucho amusement for OH tho, what about sleeping in undies underneath PJs?? I couldn't go naked under the tshirt..0 -
Does that mean you sleep in your bra - isn't that uncomfortable?Never let your sucesses go to your head and never let your failures go to your heart.:beer:0

I take my dressing gown if I stay at other peoples - the 'decent 'one not the silk one for lounging around on Sundays
