Re Kaftans - Ebay has a lot of them, try the following link for starters:

Oh my gosh, I want one!!! I am SO going to get one of these for OH for Christmas, he's always slobbing around half naked at home and then complaining that he's cold .
I usually wear jeans and skinny fit band t-shirts at home. I don't have any super comfy house clothes apart from my PJs and I would be too worried to wear them in case I got visitors!:www: Saving for a deposit - Target £30k by 24/03/14 (30th Birthday!) :www:

I like to change straight away too, partly for comfort and partly because lots of my work clothes would be ruined if I say around in them and wore them to cook. Taking them off when I get in saves dry cleaning bills too.
I also like to be warm enough.......
I tend to go for comfy (stretch or loose) jeans, socks slippers and either loose t-shirt, rugby shirt, jumper, or fleece depending upon the weather. It is a bit scruffy and DH would prefer me in a skirt but I want to be warm and comfy and not ruin my good clothes.
Planning to get some cheap jumpers and hoodies for winter as I want to keep the heating off as long as possible.
Like wearing my PJs but only if I'm not cooking, wouldn't want them smelling of food. Will put them on if I have been out for food though and will lounge around in them when I get up on the weekend too!0 -
I'm getting this vision of all us girls coming in the door and dropping our bags, clicking the kettle and then flinging the bra off. I'm not alone!

For all those that get the early eve doorstep callers (elec/phone/charity etc) a pinnie really saves the blushes and mine is hooked up conveniently to grab on the way to the door.

I wear velour trackys:o with a primark vest underneath( I have about 25 of theses) and a pair of thermal socks in the winter, i also clip my hair back off my face. Although i would never go out like this i look okay if i answer the door or run one of my kids somewhere (strictly from house to car, car to house). Unfortunatly my bra HAS to stay on untill i go to bed, i wouldn't want to scare my children:rotfl:I also have those pull on bootcut trousers from m&s but i'd forgot about them, gonna go and route them out and see if i can make a more stylish 'slobbin' outfits!!!

Oh yes! I forgot that one. My hair goes up and out the way and I always take off my watch, bracelet, earrings etc. Stay barefooted in summer and thick soled bottee slippers in winter (got chilly laminate floors  )JANUARY GROCERY CHALLENGE £23.30/£150

I think those of us who have houseclothes work, and probably either have a uniform or have to dress smartly. If I was home all day like DH then I wouldn't have separate house clothes i don't think.
I wear a pony tail round the house too, although my hair is normally back for work anyway so don't change it unless it is uncomfy.
Bra stays firmly in place although sometimes I swap it for a sports bra for comfort, might that help those that like to take their bra off???0
