House clothes?

Oooo god! I think Im weird! I get showered and dressed at half 6 in the morning, and what Im wearing stays on til I go to bed that night!
Do a lot of people wear 'houseclothes' then?
What do you wear all day though? If it's smart casual (or just casual!) fair enough, but a stiff business suit wouldn't be comfy for lounging about imho!

Oh I can understand the need for it if you wear a suit, or a uniform!
But my parents (who are both retired!) do the 'houseclothes' thing too....
Im always 'smart' but not 'tailored' if that makes any sense?
I can imagine getting in from work and stripping off. Doesnt it make for loads of laundry? You lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....

I dress casually for work but usually change when I get in. I wear jeans a lot and find them really hard to lounge in! Also it's just nice to put on a fresh t-shirt after a long day.0

The minute that i get in the lot gets taken off and it`s eiether pj`s if i`m on a late shift or a t-shirt and jeans or comfy jogging bottoms. I can`t stand being in work clothes a minute longer than i have to.
I have a longish coat and have even been known to put it on over my pj`s to nip the dogs out for their last walk before bed and had to laugh on meeting someone else in their dressing gown and pjs in the local park :rotfl:
Didn`t think i`d meet anyone in the dark so late.

No the opposite, your work clothes (which are often dry clean only if you wear smart) don't risk getting dinner spilt on them or getting food smells so manage longer between washes, the house clothes are generally easy to wash and things you don't mind wear and tear on and don't stain easily. You only have them on for a few hours so unless you spill something they will do a few days wear.0 -
I do not own any pairs of trousers other than formal tailored ones or jeans. I don't think I've worn jogging bottoms since I was forced to at school!
If I'm wearing a suit or formal trousers to work I'll come home and swap the skirt/trousers for some jeans and maybe add a jumper to replace the jacket but that is as casual as I get.0 -

I must be weird too then
My work clothes are smart but not ultra formal - they go on when I get dressed before work, and are taken off and put in the laundry bin when I go to bed.
I don't "do" casual, I hate it! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
So there are two of us who work but don't wear houseclothes then

Im the same! I own ONE pair of tracksuit bottoms, which are strictly for running in, I dont own any pjamas (hell, I dont think I can even spell it!), and ive only got 3 pairs of jeans, all of which are designer, and therefore not for 'slobbing' in! My make up goes on first thing in the morning, and comes off just as Im about to go to bed, and Im the same with my clothes... Im just not great at being 'relaxed' and 'casual' I suppose! You lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....
