I'm not sure If I should send Keira to nursery today? They said before don't send them if they are 'sick' what constitutes as sick? She has woken up today with a stuffed nose and has a sneezed a few times. So clearly a cold coming on. Is that 'sick'? Not sure what to do!
I'd send her. as long as she's not vomiting/diawoowoo/needs medicine she'll be fine IMO

    Morning all..

Feeling a bit drained this morning. Rhys got a rather violent burst of hiccups at 5am which woke him up good and proper and he didn't settle for another 90mins. I got half an hour's kip then OH woke me up and just as I was going off again, Rhys woke up.. :o

The carpet guy phoned me whilst we were at the hospital yesterday so I said I'd call him back but we only left at minutes to five and they close at five - and seemingly don't answer the phone for a good ten minutes before that  Have tried this morning but the guy I need is out right now. Really not in the mood for another battle.. :(

you will be careful with pills won't you hun?
My mum used to go to dodgy private doctors that prescribed diet pills that were basically amphetamines - not good :(
I wish someone could wave a magic wand and solve everyone's body/food issues!

I'd only go to my "normal" sensible doctors so don't worry :) There are several good ones at my surgery but 2 I prefer - both of them are pretty sensible I have to say :)

  • Right all - we're out galivanting now (well a trip to rhyme time, coffee/sandwiches at the cafe where the clinic is and then Izzy is off home with my Mum while I go to the dentist. We go to all the exciting places!) We're off to see my Granny for the weekend tomorrow (she is out of hospital now, and has moved into a residential home, as she's not well enough to be home alone) and I've not started packing yet, so I may not be back on until Monday.

So you all be good, don't worry about things, and I hope that we can all avoid visiting a&e for the next few days!

    good good.
I was so angry and upset when I found out what they were. She'd been on them about 5 times while I was younger and she only told me what they were recently (and that they had given her palpitations:eek:)
I felt betrayed by her, that she had risked her health for something as silly as looks IYSWIM

Thanks for the tip glam i will look into it :-) xx

Sami dont worry my OH is looking after me well and keeping me well fed. I will stick with it for a while as i know he knows what to do he did in the hospital for his very first feed beautifully. I think the dose of pethadine i had may have knocked him off his rhythm as he did nothing but sleep for the first 24hrs

Omg almost died there. A big hairy wasp in my living room. I ran out into the hall and left the cats too it! Think it must of flew back out the window because the kitten kept trying to stick his paw outside, and sniffing around there. He's lucky he didn't get stung, but rather him than me!
