MrsT - I did quote u as well, not sure where it has gone!
I could use the few measley drops of boobie juice for something then. It's not even worth feeding it to him, it's so dismal.

    Pesky gremlins ;)

Every drop of boobjuice will be good for him - no matter how little you think it is :) But a drop or two in the eye probably won't be missed... if you want to try and get more then speak to Elle - I know she was prescribed something that helped increase her milk - don't think it ALWAYS works but it would be worth asking I'd have thought...

Glam when does OH start his new job?

Do you get a bit of 'paternity leave' time together first?

My DH did 6 weeks of half days using up the annual leave we'd saved all during the previous year, and I found that really helpful. We were both getting lots more sleep by the time DH had to do a full day's work! :)

Sorry you're feeling bad about your supply :( the day I felt I had to bid farewell to my hopes of BF was a singularly horrid one. If savvy were on, she'd tell you to repeat to yourself 'I am doing a great job!'

Question regarding the discussion on bottles yesterday, If you're going out and make it before you go to put in the changing bag, how do you avoid the 50 degrees point where as someone said the bacteria start to grow?
I used to do it like tine. I'd put just boiled water in the bottle, bottle in the insulated bit of bag and have a powder pot (tesco and asda do own brand cheap ones)
if it's too hot it's usually easy to find a tap to cool it under ;)

I also had a travel warmer for longer trips out it takes about 15-30 mins depending on how much milk http://www.polargear.co.uk/b_bottlewarmer.htm

I've been so bad for eating regularly recently and I've managed to loose a bit more weight *yay for me!*
I'm now a slim 89kg! wooo (well actually 88.9 - but it was flickering between 89 and 88.9... so I'm claiming 89 as it's easier...) Gives me a BMI of about 28.7... *sigh* so guess I'll have to forget about weightwatchers on the NHS then... Still have vague hopes about some diet pills to help with speeding up weight loss but guessing I'll have to wait till Alex is completely off the boob... hmmm

At the moment she still has about 2 feeds from the boobs - especially the first morning one and the night one if she wakes up during the night (I'm too lazy to make a bottle at 4am I'm afraid lol) - and I KNOW I'll miss the cuddles in bed with her at 7 when she has her morning feed and snuggle next to me... :) She's so ultra cute when she gets all milk sleepy and dozes off with a little grin on her face *melts*

Sami, are you still losing weight with the BF?
not as noticeably but havent weighed myself, I think all the choc I've been eating is tipping the balance :p I don't want to loose anymore, I'm a 10/12 now but I've lost my bum (if anyone finds it please send it back ;))

Oh ladies... weight apart etc on the bra front... have any of you found that you have gone up in the chest measurement (not the cup one) on bra's after having babies? Having checked then there isn't any more meat on my ribcage (it's all belly and butt!) but I've gone up to a 34! Has my ribcage expanded? Is it permanent? (I kinda hope it is... it's hard to find 32GG/H bra's and if I go up to a 34 I'd probably drop a cup size meaning I could find boulder holders easier :D)
yes I was an impossible to get at the time 30D before Chris, went up to a 36DD while preg then down to 32D after. and I'm currently a 32D again after similar changes with Ed :)

I'm not sure If I should send Keira to nursery today? They said before don't send them if they are 'sick' what constitutes as sick? She has woken up today with a stuffed nose and has a sneezed a few times. So clearly a cold coming on. Is that 'sick'? Not sure what to do!

you will be careful with pills won't you hun?
My mum used to go to dodgy private doctors that prescribed diet pills that were basically amphetamines - not good :(
