How about the car crash. can you not use that to discredit him in some way?

well as it happens ive already bought that up. he then said he left his car with her and he that he didnt crash it ! but.... i found pictures of it which ive put in as evidence and found the claim form he filled in in 1996 saying it was a write off. how he had the nerve to claim for it when he was arrested in germany beats me but he did. i am reckoning anything he says whether relevant to the case or not- if i can disprove in some way will make the judge disbelieve everything he says
he said my kids were truanting so ive got their attendance records. he said they coulnt hold down jobs and were lazy so ive got references etc etc. the thing is none of any of this was relevant to whether we had a verbal agreement or not but like i said hes just doing a character assasination because its not costing him anything and he has no evidence

I dont see how if affects the case even if your kids were lazy. He sounds like a total !!!!!! and Im sure any judge worth his salt will see straight through him and know that hes telling a load of lies. I think the car crash, the lack of tax paid and all of your documental evidence will count against him. i am certainly keeping my fingers crossed for you. Please dont disappear but carry on posting and let us know when this ar....hole gets his comeuppance. It makes me mad and sad too.

oh i wont disappear-well not for long. ive just spent the last 3 months unpicking my finances for the last 10 years so will be away from the puter as much as poss for next couple weeks. the pre trial review is on 19.5 so after ive taken my evidence into sol on monday i am gona try and have few days not thinking about it and maybe get on with my proper work at work - i luv my boss - hes so kind.
the irony of all this is that im a bookeeper and ive always been so careful with my money and never got into debt. i used to know all the tricks and was always advising my friends and now this a******e whos never had anything in his life is takin all my security away, i cant do my job properly, i cant give my kids the support they need and i cant even do the housework coz im thinking whats the point, ive got to spend all my time on the court thing and i could lose the house anyway. still thanks for listening all. i will keep u posted

I've only read your post so far but IMG!!.....Have to say..........did think you were soft to do what you did..........but don't get offended!!!.......looking back......it's only what I did.........I ended up in debt because of ex-other half and never got that back........it's only now that I'm incredibly cynical....:p

With current OH (oh that sounds awful.........last one I intend anyway!).....I must admit.....sometimes I think 'what if'.........but then I try to remember he is not ex-OH......he is so different in so many ways.............doesn't have a problem paying his way for starters....gives what I ask......(all done very fairly btw):p

Anyway........I shall carry on reading the posts.......now doubt things will become clearer....

ok then guys i will try and post every day and youll have to listen to my boos! its my biffday this weekend and im gona try and have a good time. i may as well spend the money on me because after my next sol bill (2.5K for doin naff all coz ive done all the work)i reckon i'll be entitled to legal aid - though of course theyll put a charge on the house if i keep it.

I do hope things go your way.........too many thing don't go the 'right' way if you know what i mean......too many 'wrongens' get away with 'claiming' what is wrongfully theirs.........I do hope that the British law system wakes up to this fact eventually!!
