Sorry to hear about the story.
I guess the moral is if you are in a relationship with someone who is treating you like !!!!!! either emotionally or financially or cheating on you.
GET out ASAP and don't keep taking more and more of it.
The time to get shot of this scum bag would have been when you found out he was sleeping with the girl in 1996.
If you are to trusting / forgiving or let someone walk all over you, then a small minority of people will seriously take advantage of you.
I know it is easier said than done and "love" can be blind.
But as a rule if you are being treated crap then its time to get out or massively change that relationship.
Good Luck.0 -
He is the one who will be in trouble with the Inland Revenue. They are not going to be so stupid as to believe his tissue of lies, they will have heard this sort of fairy story MANY times before. If you have'nt already done so you or your solicitor should report him.
You will need a very good solicitor to sort this out for you, make sure you get one. The very best of luck to you.0 -
yes he is suing me. the trouble is your solicitor has to try and believe you (him). I know the onus is on him to declare his income so im not that worried about the Inland revenue, in fact I thought about asking them to be in court :-)
its more the sort of living in limbo thing and the complete character assasination he has done on my kids and me. I am in court next month.
i am soooo hoping he will conradict himself. one minute he says he had no acces to any of his earned income and the next he says he paid massive amounts of cash to beople to do work on my house !
i no i should of got rid of him but its a high price to pay for trying to help someone the best you can.
I just want other people to know that in this country the law protects people like him and that if you have a house you ca never be too careful.
BTW i kicked him out because he stole all my bank statements and went round showing them to all and sundry because he thought I was stealing from him when the simple fact is he wouldnt get up and go to work til lunch time because he said'why should i work my b*****s of to keep you and your kids ! it would be funny except he has got rights and legal aid0 -
I am shock, sad and mad! What a ruddy creep! I hope the courts see right through him and throw it out of court. The law is an !!!!!! really, the rest of us pay our taxes for cretins like him to get legal aid, grrr!Total debt £20,000 Northern Rock loan:eek:
Debt free date April 2016!!!!:eek:0 -
So sorry to hear your story Sad and Mad. It's not the first time a bloke (sorry fellas, I know you are not all like that but some are... and sometimes some women are like that too!) has taken a trusting woman for everything. Unfortunately the system is sympathetic towards the 'criminal' rather than the victim.
As for his income, he will have to produce receipts and invoices to prove what he is saying. As for your statements, they will show what you have earned and spent. But I guess that is not much consolation at the moment.
All I can say is, hang in there, come to this board for support and I truly hope that you get a judge who is realistic about the real life. Maybe his b******s will have to be put into action...
Good luck and hugs to you.0 -
Hopefully he will have to prove his oncome at the same time he was signing on or something. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Maybe you should ask your solicitor to try and trick him into contradicting himself. Solicitors can be very clever that way.The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0
