I also went to see this at the Prince Charles cinema, loved the film and it was great to see it for the 1st time on a big screen.
I did have tears in my eyes at the end.
My husband loved the vodka cocktails and yes the seats were lovely, very springy !
I'm off to watch The Shawshank Redemption tonight as part of this promotion and really looking forward to it. One of my favourite films
Not been to the Prince Charles cinema before, so a double whammy!
Looking forward to the cocktails too - pretty generous with pre-film AND intermission
Fantastic freebie - thanks Pooch :T0 -
Are you trying to say that us nightowls can't contribute during daylight hours? lol
I've had an email from Lovefilm that mentions two films you might want to consider at one point. Up in the Air and (just for gb) The Blind Side.
Going back to my duvet now.
I just imagined you had to sleep sometime...with one eye open to ensure no cremation obviously! :rotfl:
Quite fancy Blind Side thanks Pooch...all our films come from Lovefilm (for free) and we get to keep them for AGES!!!!:T0 -
My teenager loved The Goonies when I made her watch it then spent all day sayin 'Hey you guys' lol but she also really loved Forest Gump (best film ever) and Gladiator
Imagine a coach full of excited kids heading to Disneyland Paris giving it "Hey you guys" at 2am! Bliss! (Have to say not all the staff agree and there was a conspiracy 2 years ago where the dvd 'went missing'....it was soon rebought at the first service station lol :rotfl:)0 -

I am trying to remember if there is anything in Life of Brian that could cause offence.
DS insisted on renting this when it came top in one of those TV shows "Top 100 funniest films" - or whatever.
That was it then, I had to buy him the box set of all MP films for Xmas.
He cannot get over the fact that it was SO controversial at the time, and even banned in some countries.
We still have occasion to burst into "Always look on the Bright side of life...."
Another vote for Forrest Gump, Watership down.
Men in Black - first one.
Blind side is one of my personal favourites, seen it 3 times and would happily watch it another 3 !!
Night at the Museum and National Treasure - first ones again.
I Robot
Independence Day would be excellent to screen next July - so bad it is a classic.
Maybe you could pick them appropriate to the time of year - so Sleepy Hollow in Oct/Nov
Home Alone in Dec
Shawshank is one of my all time favourites, but not appropriate?
I can remember first film I went to see at uni film club - Carrie.
Everyone jumped so high at the ending, I can still remember seeing backside of guy in front above his seat back !!!:D0 -
I have set up my sky online. I can view my bills. But when i go to the rewards section its saying:
"To take advantage of Rewards from Sky, you need to be a Sky customer. Unfortunately, we're currently unable to match you to an active Sky account in our records."
Anyone know the problem ?0 -

Good God...have you actually WATCHED it?!!
One of my favourite films of all time (and I showed it to my son when he was about 7), but it's packed with swearing and general filth, full frontal nudity, and in particular has those pretty explicit oral sex scenes....0
