I enjoyed The Last Airbender as well, just had gripes with the 3D(I also took glasses off to check sometimes, lol!):rotfl:

I don't like this new thing of making a film in 2D then adding the 3D effects on later, it doesn't work! I particularly noticed it in Clash of the Titans, that was a film crying out to be made in true 3D but ended up being a totally wasted opportunity.:(

I take it that you weren't around in the 70's/80's?

I thought it was quite gritty, but then I have seen Joan live and lived the era, lol!

You weren't at the Norwich screening were you? Cos I saw two peeps creep out from that:rotfl:

    Complete change of subject.

I've just heard on the news that the former Liberal MP Cyril Smith has passed away.:A

I can think of worse politicians to have a film made about their life.

  • i saw the runaways and although i'm not really old enough to know about the era my mam and dad loved that type of music. I thought it was a very good film and my 17yr sis loved it as well. very surprised i enjoyed it as it's not really my type of film normally

2 older ladies left our performance in cardiff may have been the swaering or the drugs maybe the sex bits!!!

Yeah it was my mum and her friend that left the cinema they said it was the skankiest film they had ever seen and she lived through the sixties, i was glad that i stayed home lol but i think preview screenings are hit and miss you either like them or loathe them i generally know the films that i fancy seeing.
