Wish I had good signal here as I would love to use the unlimited data0

If you are thinking about getting a modern smart phone like the iPhone 5, iPhone 4S or the Galaxy S4 then you really need to understand that these devices consume lots of data, even when you are not actually using it in your hand. Choosing a contract that is right for you is essential.
Three are the only network to offer uncapped unlimited data contracts.
I have published a article all about unlimited data on my website, Google 'right price mobile unlimited data' - apologies I could not post a link as this is my first post
I hope you find the information useful, if you do then please share with your friends on Facebook and Twitter.0 -
Customer service really rubbsish.
Today refused to cancel a new contract still within 7 day period from taking it out over the phone, because I used the phone.0 -
Regarding the new Three PAYG tariff. Admission: I haven't read all the previous pages of posts.
I've just switched from O2 to the new Three PAYG tariff. I can now relax and not worry about the cost of calls and texts. Basically, I never made calls from my mobile as it was too expensive. I used up my O2 balance by making a call to a friend's mobile which cost £2. With Three that would have cost 12p.
Re customer service, I had a long call with an agent in India and it went very well and I was very happy with the information he gave me. He switched my number from O2 to Three.
For my home phone I'm on the TalkTalk Essentials plan. Except for evenings (after 7) and weekends, it's now far cheaper for me to use my Three mobile than my landline to make calls.
I'm looking for the catch but haven't managed to find one yet.Practising Scrooge and stingy old miser.0 -
I've found the catch.
The headline 3p/call rate ONLY applies to geographic (01/02/etc) calls. Other calls cost much more. For example, calls to 0845 numbers cost 35p/minute. Calls to non-Three mobiles costs 26p/minute
Before I took out this tariff, I called Three to make sure that the 3p/minute rate applied to ALL calls and they assured me it did.
I've just submitted a complaint to the ASA about this.
PS: SMS Delivery Reports cost 1p each as well.Practising Scrooge and stingy old miser.0 -
Well spotted if true, I too had the strong impression that other network mobiles were 3p.

Voice calls to other UK mobiles
3p / min
The 26p rate sounds like Three's pre 321 rate per this info

@vadek, can you do a fact check?
- got a link to where you see the 26p rate, or a scan of a section of your 3 bill after you started on the 321 tariff?0 -

You're wrong. Calls to all numbers apart from premium rate/0800 numbers are 3p per minute.
Of course 0845 numbers cost. That's the whole point of that phone code.0 -

The Special Numbers page can be found on their web site by clicking on Support, then Calls Emails & Messages, then Special Numbers. On the PAYG tariff all these Special Numbers call charges apply. Everything else (geographic) is 3p per minute.
I've been there and had the argument with "3" and been refunded and told about Special Numbers. All calls on the 3 PAYG 321 tariff do NOT cost 3p. Their advertising campaign is blatantly misleading.
If anyone from 3 would like to come on here and contradict me, that would be great! But it won't happen.Practising Scrooge and stingy old miser.0 -
"3" directed me to the web page showing Special Numbers and told me that all these charges apply. Only calls to geographic numbers (and, I think, 3 mobiles) are charged at 3p per minute.

It says on their support site that calls to other networks are 3p a min too http://support.three.co.uk/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBISAPI.DLL?Command=New,Kb=Mobile,Ts=Mobile,T=Article,varset_cat=payasyougo,varset_subcat=4124,Case=obj(4101)0 -
Vadek is referring to the special numbers page
http://www.google.com/search?q=three%20special%20numbers
Then take the first result link.
This page makes it clear that standard UK mobile numbers are NOT special numbers, so will no be charged at a special - that is, over 3p - rate.
If any user of the new 321 tariff would post an example from their 3 billing, of being charged over 3p/min to a non 3 UK mobile, then we might have something to worry about.0
