I have only just started my contacts with O2 so i do not have any experience other that how it is going so far, and that is a million miles better than three !!!!

I am unable to even imagine any one could be as bad as three mobile, i am unable to believe that they could be so BAD AS WHAT THEY ARE !!!!!!!

o2 have the worst 3g coverage in the uk so good luck doing anything more than making a call or sending a text.
3 has the best uk coverage (confirmed by ofcom)
Did you ask them for a PAC code? if you did and didnt use it you contract would continue.
3 have been absolutely fine with me, great HSDPA coverage, friendly people on the phone, I even had a friendly chap from the executive office phone me last week because a problem had been flagged on my account, I wasnt recieving a discount for being a 3 mobile customer and taking out a broadband package 6 months ago, so he put the discount on and £30 to cover the past 6 months discount, increased my usage limit from 15gb to 20gb a month and put an additional £100 on my account to cover the inconvenience.

Been with 3 for just over 2 1/2 years. I had said that when my contract ends (end of March) I wouldn't be renewing it because of a bad experience with customer services. Anyway for a while now the coverage I have had has been terrible (never had a problem up until about a month or so ago). Hardly any signal in the house and it comes and goes when out and about. Even when I have a full signal it goes straight to answerphone and when I make a call it doesn't always connect. I can be in the middle of a conversation and get cut off. I am constanlty having to turn the phone on and off .

It's now getting beyond the joke so I went into the shop today. I told the girl what was happening and she said she knew about the problems but there was nothing she could do about it. I told her that I am paying for a service that I am not getting 100% and she said she knows but hard luck (her words!) she cant do anything. I said to her "so basically I'm throwing my money down the drain, then?" and she said "sorry, but yes". She then said I could try phoning Customer Services but I told her they were a joke and again she agreed! :rotfl:

I left the shop very annoyed and mentioned it to my sister who is also with 3 and she is having exactly the same problems (we live close by) so obviously it is a network problem.

I couldn't be bothered phoning so had a chat with an advisor online and didn't really get anywhere.

My friend has advised me to just pay off the remaining 4 or 5 months but why should I have to pay for something I am not getting?

Am I stuck with this problem till April or can anything be done?

    Thanks
  • I was with 3 for 6 years and yesterday had enough of them.

Was on Mix and Match 1100 for £15 a month due to loyalty discount.

I wanted more minutes and they coulndt offer anything more besides changing my price plan which would work out something like £35 which is same for a new customer. By being a customer for 6 years they could not care less. Opted to leave as vodafone was offering 10000x better and they were happy to let me go.

Thier customer service is te shi*ttest I have ever come accross. Forceful sales and they dont even give you time to speak and couldn't care less what you think.

Thankfully will never join 3 again and never recommend anyone else to join 3.

If you phone OTELO you will get a reference number to call the exective office.

If you tell otelo all your problems they are the people who you need to get a reference number from.
The executive office in Glasgow will not speak with anyone without a ref number

Explain to otelo all the trouble as they expect you to have tried to sort through c/s but obviousely you have done this anyway

I am due for an upgrade with 3 (15 months into 18 month contract and was with them 18 months before that). The person I spoke with (from outside the UK) was so condescending and tried to fob me off with a phone I didn't want - Sony Ericcson T715. Every phone I suggested had '£10)' a month extra.

Have decided to move to another provider (probably Orange as I have a contract with them - for my son - and I can get a good deal for a second account). Does anyone know if I have to wait for the 18 months giving my notice at 17 months or could I give notice now?

    Cheers
