Nope.. just to mention what we have done and what will happen:

So if people have reported us, it is only fair we can report back - thing is, our response will have this thread deal in under a week :)

1. Reported this thread to Google as it contains information about our business that should NOT be shown on a public forum.
Don't bother deleting posts as it will already be cached by google and we also have screen grabs in any case.

2. Reported this thread to this sites host which I believe is:
http://whois.domaintools.com/moneysavingexpert.com
http://www.domaintools.com/registrant-search
hostmaster@thebunker.net

IF this email turns up to not work, bounce back or in any way, none working.. we can ask Google to terminate this thread from searches which they will do immediately due to the terms this forum has (ie: to be against giving infactual information)

In the end, we win :)

Why do we keep posting?
Just because its run watching people aimlessly throw stones when we can throw rocks and eventually have this resolved to OUR satisfaction.

EDIT; Users on here should be mindfull about what they type also - as we can easily ask Nominet for the contacts information and have a written report sent in validation on what 'salerio' has mentioned on here, which they are legally allowed to provide to us. We can ask Nominet IF any of the details in that statement made by Salerio were true and also keep a copy of the phone call OR get a written statement by them refuting such a post.
You should complain to NDS & FACT

In regards to being reported to FAST - we have replied and are awaiting an answer from 'Anne' herself.
If this such person does NOT exist - MSE can legally be sued for a poster posting incorrect and misleading information about FAST.
We have requested that the complainants details be revealed to our legal department as we will be taking legal action against these allegations against us.

Also in regards to this site- why does the hosting company of this site's support email not work correctly.
Unable to deliver message.
Error message: 550 5.1.1 <solutions@thebunker.net>... Mailbox is not available.

Very strange, considering this is a public consumer action forum that it is hosting, that has defamatory comments upon it....

ALSO:
You can still post on our forum and we can explain things over there.
We would NOT mislead forum users on our site and can explain properly ;)

If you can post on here, your mistruths - they why cant you not do it on a moderated site where we do prosecute I wonder??? Seems very strange or have the one-track ponies on here not considered that :)
Just to confirm, XL Trading does have the right to reply but this does not mean MSE endorses its products in any way and, like all other forum users, must help us keep the forum a friendly place to be.

Try searching these before you have Google shut down globally for libelling you. Mind you I suppose you could always start up a new search engine called XLoogle to replace them with eh?

What information are you talking about?

If its the whois info, its all publicly available info which can be viewed by anyone :)

All I can say is unlucky. You shouldn't want to hide these details if you were running a proper business anyway :)

Just reported this to Nominet as well:
Read the statement.
This WHOIS information is provided for free by Nominet UK the central registry
for .uk domain names. This information and the .uk WHOIS are:

Copyright Nominet UK 1996 - 2009.

You may not access the .uk WHOIS or use any data from it except as permitted
by the terms of use available in full at http://www.nominet.org.uk/whois, which
includes restrictions on: (A) use of the data for advertising, or its
repackaging, recompilation, redistribution or reuse (B) obscuring, removing
or hiding any or all of this notice and (C) exceeding query rate or volume
limits. The data is provided on an 'as-is' basis and may lag behind the
register. Access may be withdrawn or restricted at any time.

Under the Data Protection Act - you have posted on a public forum, see (A) the old details of the previous owner of the site which you are NOT allowed to do by law. You have done this to purposefully use the information to allow defamatory comments about our site and we have sent a legal request to reveal your information.

Nominet and WhoIs carry information specific IP information about who looks into domains at all times and we have requested your specific internet service provider details in order that we can send them an abuse of terms/service due to your defamatory comments on this site.
Just to confirm, XL Trading does have the right to reply but this does not mean MSE endorses its products in any way and, like all other forum users, must help us keep the forum a friendly place to be.

Heard back from Nominet, they are correcting XLTrading's registry entry.

XLT showed up in uk.legal kept calling it a "forum" for some reason and ripping the the "forum owners". Still didn't attempt to address any legal questions regarding the requirement to put their trading or registered address and VAT # on their web site despite being challenged twice to explain it.

That was the place to make legal threats and be laughed at.

If XLT wish to bring legal threats against me for reporting them they can feel free. I'll reply to a PM.

Had to mention this again.. now before people try jumping on this posters bandwagon... think of this.

Would a worker for Nominet REALLY give out the details of our Nominet entry knowing the data protection act does not allow this and could allow us to prosecute them IF they disclosed any information to posters on this site?
No.

Would they really correct our entry just by some one commenting on the details - WITHOUT our approval.
No.

That made us laugh.
You really expect people on this forum who have 'a brain' to believe that a customer service worker would allow any information to be passed to a total stranger, without contacting US first?

Really :)
And the calibre of posters on this thread gets better and better we see.

Good luck with that one then :rotfl:

You may understand why everyone is laughing at you when you hit puberty ;)

Oh ok, so you believe that a hosting company 'can' how shall I say... block people from reporting suspicious content where necessary then... you agree this is the right thing to do?

For a public consumer forum?
The geniuses on this forum astound me they really do.

Did we not read the posts above when it was clearly stated that Tim was the OLD site owner.
The poster has just printed his home address which - as an individual - who DOES NOT have anything more with XL, you they have no right to do.

Bit of a case there for Google to strip this thread from its searches and other search engines combined.
* Posting information of a personal nature against the T&C's of this site should do it.
