Still no answer to why there is no geographical address on the X*Tr*ding website. You seem to have a smarta*se answer to everyone else, but when I present to you legal proof that you are breaking the law, it gets ignored. Let me remind you FOR THE 5TH TIME....

http://www.opsi.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm ...this links to the ACTUAL Distance Selling Regulations, as issued by the government. As a distance seller of goods you MUST adhere to the regulations in this document.

Paragraph 7 of this leagl document states:
Information required prior to the conclusion of the contract
    7. - (1) Subject to paragraph (4), in good time prior to the conclusion of the contract the supplier shall -

    • (a) provide to the consumer the following information -

      • (i) the identity of the supplier and, where the contract requires payment in advance, the supplier's address;

May I remind you (for the 5th time again) that breach of the distance selling regulations is a breach of the law. Your website does not provide a geographical address to customers prior to buying, therefore (trust me) it is illegal to sell anything on the website.

I'm still waiting for you to wriggle out of this one....but you're doing no wriggling, ...indicating to me you know you are breaking the law ;)

I wonder what the "technical problem" is?

It may be related to the email that I sent to the Chief Executive at Sky last week.

We are not gracing this forum with replys anymore, everything can be explained over at our place but since non of you wish to partake of our little challenge (cowards) then there is nothing more to say really :)

We have taken this matter to a higher power now and since MSE do not care enough to remove the thread for you - we we will have it binned by Google themselves who WILL delete this thread from being spidered and from showing on search engines.

    Good Day :)

    EDIT: Linkypoo.

Even in the US I believe now, a celeb has gone full pelt in order to get a bloggers details.
Bloggers and forums - both the same now.

I like the part that reads:
Unfortunately, the odds are pretty good that you may be dealing with an unstable or unreasonable individual. They may get obnoxious and rude in response to you, and refuse to cooperate.

#1 – Report All Terms & Conditions Violations to the Host
If you’ve contacted the webmaster and they are unwilling to cooperate, then the first part of this battle will be firing off as many abuse violation reports as needed. Your first order of business is to report a violation to their web host. It’s important that you find a violation on the web page that goes against the terms and conditions of the host. Most web hosts do not allow libel or copyright infringement.

And the part we really, REALLY like kids :)
For example, Hostdime, the web host of the offending site listed above (example), provides an “Unauthorized Personal Material” claim form. One of the first things HostDime will do when they receive such a report is to “Expeditiously remove or disable access to the personal material that is claimed to be unauthorized.” This occurs immediately! There is no faster way to remove a website with libel on it. All you need to do is find any place on the website where the author makes use of your name, personal information or any other “personal material,” without your permission.

Good Night and God Bless - have a great xmas and have an excellent new year!
We have asked for this thread to be removed at the beginning.. now we are upping the measure :)

    From Google themselves:
Removals that are processed through this tool are excluded from Google search results for six months.
Just to confirm, XL Trading does have the right to reply but this does not mean MSE endorses its products in any way and, like all other forum users, must help us keep the forum a friendly place to be.

...Sorry to sound like a parrot, but did I tell you that your website does not adhere to paragraph 7 of the Distance Selling Regulations...? Failure of the website to abide by these regs makes it unlawful to sell anything....I'm sick of telling you this now.

...but if you want to turn a blind eye to the law, thats up to you. Either way, let me know!

Heard back from Nominet, they are correcting XLTrading's registry entry.

XLT showed up in uk.legal kept calling it a "forum" for some reason and ripping the the "forum owners". Still didn't attempt to address any legal questions regarding the requirement to put their trading or registered address and VAT # on their web site despite being challenged twice to explain it.

That was the place to make legal threats and be laughed at.

If XLT wish to bring legal threats against me for reporting them they can feel free. I'll reply to a PM.

Nope.. just to mention what we have done and what will happen:

So if people have reported us, it is only fair we can report back - thing is, our response will have this thread deal in under a week :)

    1. Reported this thread to Google as it contains information about our business that should NOT be shown on a public forum.
Don't bother deleting posts as it will already be cached by google and we also have screen grabs in any case.

    2. Reported this thread to this sites host which I believe is:
    http://whois.domaintools.com/moneysavingexpert.com
    http://www.domaintools.com/registrant-search
    hostmaster@thebunker.net

IF this email turns up to not work, bounce back or in any way, none working.. we can ask Google to terminate this thread from searches which they will do immediately due to the terms this forum has (ie: to be against giving infactual information)

In the end, we win :)

    Why do we keep posting?
Just because its run watching people aimlessly throw stones when we can throw rocks and eventually have this resolved to OUR satisfaction.

EDIT; Users on here should be mindfull about what they type also - as we can easily ask Nominet for the contacts information and have a written report sent in validation on what 'salerio' has mentioned on here, which they are legally allowed to provide to us. We can ask Nominet IF any of the details in that statement made by Salerio were true and also keep a copy of the phone call OR get a written statement by them refuting such a post.
Just to confirm, XL Trading does have the right to reply but this does not mean MSE endorses its products in any way and, like all other forum users, must help us keep the forum a friendly place to be.

:rotfl: None of that applies because none of us know you from Adam, so nothing " personal " has been said about you, keep digging.:rotfl:
