I give up - that word "t&c" again.

You are not helping sort problems just mudding the situation further with constant barrage of "t&c", "t&c".......

I have always been quite clear that the t&c are fundamental. If you really get bored with them or don't think they are important the rep obviously doesn't either - but I always will. I am a customer, when you actually become one perhaps you will find them more relevant. T&c do not "muddy" anything - they do the reverse.

I believe that YOU are the one "not helping". By virtually always springing to the defence of a company which you don't even use you are simply doing the rep's job for them and YOU are "muddying" what is important. The company will never improve when they get succour from suckers.

Summing up the original question on this thread.

    1. There is no hard evidence of this company failing to pay out on cashbacks.

    2. They take up to 50 plus days to settle the claims, but they seem to be settled eventually, some MSE members report quicker settlements.

    3. They allow claims by email and say that they acknowledge such claims within a day or so. Now that saves the postal/special delivery fee and seems to be a big plus. (Make your own mind up on that one, but 4 claims at nearly £3 per claim postal costs is not insignificant). Do competitors offer this?

    4. If anything goes wrong with your order, they seem to have real difficulties in answering emails or their telephone. Their back office seems to be in some turmoil at present - whether due to staff shortages, cost cutting or what.

    5. They are part of the CPW group so your claims redemptions look to be as safe as they can be

    6. No significant posts on whether gifts are received on time or not. (Well, none I could see)

So, you pays your money and takes your choice. Even MobileJunkie has bought from this site, so there must be the occasional good deal.

This company that I do not use is because I learnt YEARS AGO they were no good when it came to customer care and I do not like their approach to cashbacks. I do not need someone banging on about how they know how rubbish they can be and confusing others in the process.

You really don't get it, do you? No one is complaining about the basic message you are saying or actually leaping to the defence of mobiles.co.uk, it is the inflamatory language and tone, the repetitive banging on about the same old tired points that does it. By continuing in your present manner, you are causing neutrals to instinctively use the old British position of protecting the underdog.

You are making this CPW company the underdog, the very thing you are trying NOT to do.

I am more confident in "neutrals" than you appear to be. The inflamatory language and tone applies more to the rep than to me. The lies apply solely to the rep. CPW the "underdog" - as laughable as some of the things coming from the rep. I don't much care whether he barks or not, but I will continue to warn others as long as ANY dealer says one thing and does another.

Even more amazing. You found that out years ago yet still keep defending them. I found the same thing out years ago too - but I am here to testify to that rather then the opposite because there are a LOT of people who didn't!

Proves my point completely. When you wrote "I am more confident in "neutrals" than you appear to be.", here you have someone in OneADay who had problems with this company actually almost taking their side because he is p****d off with your approach.

Now if a dissatisfied ex-customer - not even a neutral - is actually complaining about your approach, surely that MUST tell you something?

(Edit:- Silly question. I know the answer already )

I think it tells much more about the two of you actually.

"1. There is no hard evidence of this company failing to pay out on cashbacks.

    2. They take up to 50 plus days to settle the claims, but they seem to be settled eventually, some MSE members report quicker settlements."

By the way, I have repeatedly said that I know of two cases where cashback was NOT paid as I have previosuly stated several times. It always puzzles me when someone writes "up to" then "plus"! One is not compatible with the other.

I was amazed at the time and effort you put in calmly during that time in an attempt to sort things out on here when all normal channels had failed. !
    Hi MJ,
The point at the time was that I was still trying the "normal channels"
As anyone can check I only posted on the thread whilst I was on hold listening to the poxy music.
I carried on with the thread in real time so that others could see how it panned out.
I was very surprised at how bad the situation was as it carried on and feel that people should have learn't something from it bcause I certainly did!
It's not just about the money
