    Hey all.

Today I start some holiday and it could not have come at a better time! Moneywise - all is going fine, but Rupewise have let everything get on top of me a bit. :o

Nevermind - will be good to just chill at home for a while - spend some time with the family and regain some perspective on things.

Aww, what's up hun? It's not like you to be down in the dumps :(
Has the stress of the last few months caught up with you or are you worrying about how you'll manage with the course?

Either way, I think the trick is don't over-think it. Everything will work out.

Enjoy the break and take care x

Thanks Mrs R and Macgirl. I have a week to get my mojo back - but it is Love Week on Deal or No Deal;) so I should be OK soon:rotfl:

Went out for lunch with OH today, after a bit of a sticky 'emergency' meeting with a colleague. There are just some work situations which have left me feeling a bit hung out to dry (IYSWIM), and I have also been guilty of the whole ' I have to cope, I have to be strong, don't ask for help' syndrome - which of course leads to burn-out and (in my case) slightly bonkers behaviour when I've had enough:D

Am feeling (in myself) quite a lot better already - but so exhausted by it all.

ANYWAY - its freezing here at the mo (and snowing) so the heating is back on full AGAIN. OH and I briefly had the whole 'shall we save money and not put the heating back on' discussion - it lasted about 5 short seconds;)

Discovered today that a trip to Ikea is a brilliant way to forget any problems in life. Transported into a world where there is no cleaning to do, everything looks lovely and it all seems completely doable that your house could look like that too:rotfl:all this and free coffee/tea refills!

Well, significantly lighter of purse afterwards - our boys are now the proud owners of bunk beds - a total bargain in my book - shame in went in there for a wardrobe (which we didn't even buy in the end:rotfl:)

Even better - they had gluten free chocolate cake :D:D

:beer:This happy beer-clanking icon is to celebrate the return of Rupe's mojo - its taken a LOT of doing, muchos Fox's Glacier Mints and almost complete radio silence from the rest of the world BUT am doing a whole lot better. Have stopped randomly conking out whenever not in a vertical position (seriously - its was getting ridiculous) and can contemplate going back to work (few more days off yet) with something approaching enthusiasm. YAY!!!:T

Cried today when I watched the Opening Ceremony of the Winter Olympics - I always do, whenever they do the speech about the youth of the world, it makes me well up - but seeing the Georgian team, absolutely devastated but walking in together was extremely moving I thought.

Yes, it was very sad and seemingly avoidable.....

Anyway, on a lighter note, great that you have your mojo back Rupe. Think it would take more than Fox Glacier mints for me and Ikea would do me in!

    Glad you're ok now ;)

Never underestimate the power of a Fox's glacier mint (or 20;))

Well - here I am, back at work - and its not too bad actually. Am feeling almost normal again! Am going to spend the last bit of my afternoon PLANNING for the next few months - then am off to the gym to get myself moving.

MOJO is pretty much back :j

Had a great time today with a really good friend - I need to get my life balanced a bit more. There are people in my life who just make everything fun - and I rarely ever get to see them because I'm too busy fulfilling the obligations. Something has got to give - and for a while there it was looking like it would be me. Not anymore bubbaloo:D

Morning all - snow has once again wreaked havoc with the roads - a journey which normally takes 15 minutes took me 1hour and 25 mins today (but this was mainly due to people blocking roads off and leaving their cars - v irritating).

Am sat on my own in the office - may be joined later, might not. Honestly would quite like it if their was just me;)

OH has gone to look round PC World today - I need a memory stick and we are looking at a future laptop purchase (although secretly I would quite like it if he just brought one today;), and even more secretly I would love it if he ignored the fact we are saving and brought me a Macbook:rotfl:- unlikely in the extreme though)

Only fly in the ointment today - my tummy is starting to feel VERY unhappy.....
