Hi Rupe, even though you are short you've still made great progress with the savings.

Personally, I'd drive to save £££'s but the National Express would be the cheapest option I guess.... Hope all's ok and well done on the running!

Afternoon everyone - have been very quiet recently. Am just going through these expensive months and getting them done. Am on the home stretch of my job now - this week we interview for the person to replace me :D quite looking forward to it actually.

Today I have no motivation to even move:rotfl:having the working from home equivalent of a duvet day. Am on the sofa waiting for the Budget - its frightening how much I have turned into my parents. I have very clear memories of them anxiously discussing the Budget each year (of course now we seem to have Budget announcements every other week)...

    ..right - here we go....

 Welcome to the official 'closing down the thread' drink - feel free to have a pint (of whatever you choose;)) on me.

Thank you to anyone who has stuck with me this long. This seems like a good time to end this - although I may start another when I am in student world! That will be a whole new story - but where we are in our savings may well be where we will stay until the start of my course - although I have agreed to extend my time of reduced hours at my (old) job, so potentially could get up to £6k by end of Aug.

Thanks for your support all - I will no doubt pop my head into your diaries on a regular basis...x
