:j:j:jAm getting ridiculously excited about reduced hours and lie-ins!!!:j:j:j
Hopefully this will distract me from my slightly depressing weight - about a stone heavier than this time last year - so tonight have taken a good long look at myself and the late-night snacking habit which is making me unhappy! I have some weddings to go to this summer, and if I can get a stone off by then (or even 10 lbs) I will be so much happier and able to enjoy myself. After having junior rugrat I lost 4 stone and got slim for the first time in well over a decade - and I just will not let my weight slide up there again.
But at least I have the Which? website to keep me occupied:rotfl:Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

Well - this week is going to be challenging MSE-wise - am taking some workmates out for cake today and then going to the cinema with DD this evening. I have a plan on how to stick to my Slimming World plan and manage today - but money wise, i'm just going to have to 'suck it up' (hate that phrase - but it is very apt for this week:D)
Did my SOA last night - and I have to say it makes for very encouraging reading. In theory it is possible for us to live on OH's wage, AND have some money to spare at the end of the month to put towards uni fees. Obviously this is in theory - but next years fees don't look as hopeless (without borrowing) as they once did...Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

Rupeworld randomness no 1...
I have had the song 'I like you so much better when you're naked' going round and round in my head ALL DAY. Why? WHY??? I keep starting to sing it - then see one of the rugrats and catch myself.
I DID NOT have that song in my head at any point during the leadership debate last night:rotfl:or did I??;)

Glad you're back on form!
But no more talk of reduced hours and lie-ins or I'm going to stop popping in
As for the 3 spoddy leaders - naked?! Ewwwwwwww0 -
:D:D OK I promise macgirl - quite frankly I have looked at what I have arranged to do next week on my 'reduced hours' :rotfl:there will be no lie-ins here. I think my brain will take a few weeks to catch up with the reality;)

Afternoon all - sorry for the radio silence over the last couple of days. I have rediscovered the night owl sleeping habits of my former life;) and consequently can barely open my eyes in the daytime! Its reaction to reducing my hours - and to feeling as if I am holiday. It should pass (because I am v v tired and the children keep rolling their eyes at me when I say 'just going to close my eyes for a minute' in the middle of dinner:rotfl:)Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

You'll do it with ease Rupe - if I can you canDownload a training plan and you're off!
I'm due to do 9 miles in the morning but as I'm awake at "stupid-o'clock", that's looking doubtful. I'm on a very tight schedule in the morning - packing in a run, a house viewing and a house blitz prior to hosting a 4 year old's birthday party - joy!0 -
I entered the dark and scary world that is Twitter over the weekend - wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Really don't think I get it yet - and have been incredibly sad and old - and am following BBC News:rotfl:
Well here's to a good week of (hopefully) weight loss and good training for the 10k. Despite my reduced hours have pretty much a full day of work - plus a meeting tonight. Ho hum - would look forward to it if I wasn't starting the week tired. MUST get to bed earlier....Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side
