hey Tasha dude! Have pm-d you x

Had such a fab day today - doing exactly what I wanted to do - when I wanted to do it. I will get really spoilt - I know I will.

Shame we seem to be haemorraging money at the moment:o

:D:D life just is a little unreal at the moment - but I like it;) snooker, laptop, a bit of space from work and 'real life' - I am an extremely blessed woman at the moment:T

On the other hand - am having a lot of trouble with my stomach and digestive system lately - so doctor is sending me for blood tests. I'm not sure if I want them to find out what the problem is or not really IYSWIM. Thats me - Ms Decisive. TBH it'll be vanity that decides it - I've put on a lot of weight recently:( - but I haven't really changed my eating or exercise habits - so something seems to be up.

Anyway - enough of that ...

OK - did I say blessed?? Smug city eh? SO I probably deserve the RIDICULOUS day I am having:rotfl: All I can say is that if I wasn't getting paid for the morning I have had, there would be some serious screaming going on:cool:

Had my blood test today - it HURT!! And the nurse took so much blood - I may as well have just given blood at the same time, and got a biscuit for my trouble:rotfl: Oh well lets hope they find something that is an easy fix.

AM trying to decide which laptop/netbook to get at the moment. This is an on-going debate at RupeTowers - I cannot seem to make my mind up - probably because I am going for optimum value-for-money whilst being a bit of a 'label-snob'. If money was no object it would be a macbook, no question - but need to keep my sensible MSE head on;)

    Hey Rupester :hello:

Sorry to hear things are not as they should be in the tum department - hope you get it sorted soon :)

As for laptops - be MSE for now and buy something like a Dell. There's plenty of time for Macs when you can really afford it (she says typing this on a Macbook :D)

    Take care xx

Oh I love the snooker!! Because I insisted on watching it - I have the living room to myself! Rugrats dispatched to their respective rooms, OH and junior rugrat asleep - and its just me and someone else's laptop down here;)

Went over to my BF's (that is of course Best Friend - NOT Boy Friend - thats how rumours start!) today - and we talked money - or at least the different priorities we have. Its great to have someone to bounce ideas off of.:)

WELL! I've had better bank holidays it has to be said:cool:

On the positive side - lost just over 4 lbs last week :T and went for a run first thing this morning - and ran the route I had decided on without stopping (a big thing for me). SO v chuffed with myself.

On the not so positive side - urgh!!!:rotfl:Irritating texts to do with work, irritating OH who has been on a grumpathon today, and the hailstones didn't help:( Will be glad to see the back of today - and its a shame because I was really looking forward to having the day all together - HA!!

Also, spent £50 without really trying:eek: haven't done that for ages.

Wanted to say a mahoosive thank you!!!!! to all who have commented, lurked and encouraged me so far. You are all FAB and have been brilliant when I needed some friends. (This sounds as if I'm going somewhere - I'm not;)) xx
