:rotfl:ok - just watching TV while surfing;) and the most hilarious advert in the world has just come on -the 'Juan Sheet does plenty' advert. Love it - has cheered me up today:D
Went for a run today, have been struggling with iron levels and whatnot - but managed to pull a 4 miler out of the bag - this was a happy surprise:D unfortunataly, after that I could barely move all day and spent most of the evening in bed! Have woken up now that the rest of the world is going to bed:cool:Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

Oh dear - I just committed one of the cardinal DFW sins...spending to cheer myself up:o:D
Have been feeling abit rubbish about putting weight on and at present just don't have the willpower to do anything about it (and am on some tablets which make it a bit harder as well) - and I just saw a dress which made me look really nice...so I brought it - but then had to get some sandals to go with:rotfl:I know this is VERY BAD - so to assauge guilt feelings (but in a totally illogical way) - went and brought summer clothes for the rugrats;)
Am definately battling against a total 'head in the sand' phase. Just got to try and hold it together til it passes....Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

Wait for it....
for the first time in about 2 years I can see the bottom of the washing basket!!!!!:j:j:beer::beer::T
this may seem like an over-reaction, but with 3 rugrats and no tumble dryer this is a SERIOUS achievement - tra la laaaa. Thank you boiling hot sun!!!!!
Now, I hear you cry, surely Rupe you now have a massive pile of ironing to do. But no! I do not iron - I merely laugh in the face of creases and merrily think 'they will drop out when you wear it':D:D
Other news from RupeWorld - have possibly got my body back under control - no weight gain this week - YESSS!!!! And we have nearly got to the end of our mammoth insurance/car spend - just car tax to go now...
Recorded LOST last night - but am waiting til I feel sufficiently on the ball enough to watch it. I have to concentrate - and I'm too hot. (Funny how I'm not too hot to work - just to watch Lost?!:rotfl:)
Have a great afternoon all xOnward and upward - with the odd step to the side

All good in Rupe World then? Great to hear!
I am an ironer (even with a newly acquired tumble dryer), but I have friends who say they never iron and I certainly can't tell. Which I was brave enough/not so much of a control freak.
Well done on the weight loss and savings - glad things are on the up for you. Keep it up0 -
Hmm - trying to catch up on the last episode of LOST while also trying to catch up on the forums --- not a good idea.
ooh - I keep typing stuff then deleting, just in case it spoils it for anyone else - argh - so frustrating:rotfl:
OK - spent NOTHING today - have stopped the (mini) rot... ooh and I went for a run - which is my second of the week. Legs still feel like lead (due to iron deficiency hoopla) - but I can go further each time. Have no idea if I'll be able to do the 10k in July - but its nice to get the regular exercise.
OK - now I REALLY have no idea whats going on in Lost...better concentrate...Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

Right-o, Rupe catch up time...
...yep - nothings been going on here at Rupe towers:D and thats actually quite nice - iron deficiancy fun and games have led me to quite enjoy the quiet life that I've been having:)
I have been running fairly regularly - and have deffo seen a difference in the waist/hip ratio - if not on the scales - which is fab - but have had a VERY dizzy day today so no running for a little while.
Eurovision was about the highlight of my weekend - I KNOW its naff but i love it;) and watched Sherlock Holmes twice - its BRILLIANT the second time round.
Apart from that, have been surfing the net looking at houses I will never buy, in areas that I will never live in - just because life is a bit too settled - it will liven up soon no doubt....Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

Well here we are - its the 4th June - and I'm 'taking stock' a bit. I've got to tell you - even though it doesn't look like we will be at £7k by August - we should be at £6k - which was the original plan before the college put their fees up;)
I'm really feeling quite chuffed - we have had some expensive problems with our two old bangers, we've paid for a course OH is doing, and a holiday in August, 2 school holidays for various Rugrats - ooh plus a week away for senior rugrat in the summer (blimey!:rotfl:)
I've also taken a mahoosive pay cut this year (but with the fab bonus of reduced hours - which came at just the right time:))
Have no idea how things will go next year - but now mojo is back, I say BRING IT ON!!!! (is it mojo - or is it aftermath of a scrumlicious bbq yesterday?? bbqs in the garden - summer living has finally arrived at Rupe Towers!!)Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

Ooh dear - been a while since I wrote on here *clears tumbleweed from thread*
Actually there was actual tumbleweed blowing across the road today as I took rugrats to school. Real tumbleweed - on the street. I mean, I know the area gets quiet occasionally, but really...
Anyway - am into my last 4 weeks of working from home then I am a FREE woman (and also a skint one, but no matter;)). Last few weeks have been scarily expensive, but have come out of 'just don't think about it' mode into 'we WILL come out the other side' mode. Have realised what works when you are a 2 wage house (paying 2 lots of car insurance, house insurance and one lot of car tax up front within 2 months), will not work on one wage. Well, not in Rupeworld anyway.
Did I say we should be at £6k by August??:rotfl:Am revising the figures once more - I'd make a great Chancellor of the Exchequer no? Quite frankly if we can pay all the bills without touching whats already saved I will consider it a job well done (we also have 2 rugrat's birthdays before end of August - and I am such a softie when it comes to birthdays) --- oooh and I've just remembered - 3 sets of uniform for September (one is going up to high school, and the others won't stop growing:cool:)
This post is acquiring a slightly manic edge - ha ha haaaa - I laugh in the face of it all. There is football to watch and VEEEEERY long shots of Beckham looking thoughtful to look forward to (thank you ITV person on the HD camera:D).Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

:eek:Have just been looking online at how much it would cost me to get to Leeds on the train (2 stops about 3 hours long) - the absolute cheapest I can find (return) is £83. £83!!!!!! This is ridiculous and wrong. If I wasn't such a wuss I would drive there - but motorways make me cry a little:rotfl:Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side
