:eek:Bills bills bills - take a good look at my signature because in a few days it will not look that good:cool:

Oh my goodness - may and June are turning out to be months of EVIL moneywise - a mahoosive bill for some work we had done on OH's car (plus its being MOT'd tomorrow - thats never good news), plus insurance and car tax due - and thats not counting paying for a course that OH is doing - is what I did this morning when it all got on top of me - THEN I gave myself a talking to and have been:D:rotfl::D:rotfl:in a very determined yet slightly manic manner.

Went for a run this evening to distract and destress - man it works! I decided to do a bit of 'speedwork' - speed is a relative term obviously;) and i was far too tired by the end to CARE about bills.

Had a fab time with a good friend today - she's such a brilliant mate - and inspirational too - so on balance we are ending the day in a much more positive frame of mind than we began it here at RupeTowers:j

Yuk to MOT and any car related bills. I had to buy 4 new tyres this month. My brakes need doing, but they will have to wait, then the service. Joy of money sapping joy.

Anyway fingers crossed it'll pass and spends will be minimal.

Yay to running though. At times it has been a life saver for me. A place to go by myself, with my own thoughts and only the sound of me huffing and puffing to keep me company :D It is hard sometimes, but once you've put on your trainers and are outside - it's great. Keep up the speedwork, it defo improves stamina. Good for you x

Right - now that we finally have a government;) I can step away from News24:D

Updates....well OH's car passed its MOT(!!):jhurray hurray - but we are definately spending muchos money on insurance/tax etc etc

ALSO - have grought a laptop - yeah baby!! A nice shiny new Dell one - and this was courtesy of a couple of really good friends who wanted to buy me one before I went to uni. HOW LOVELY WAS THAT?:)

As for me - I have an answer as to why I've been feeling so under the weather recently (and no its NOT a baby - oh my imagine if it was...)
I have an iron deficiency - quite a serious one as well (not the old 'slightly anaemic' line that I always get) - so have been busy rethinking the way we eat- as well as getting used to iron tablets (yum yum:rotfl:) The good thing is thats its very fixable, and we've found it before it led to anything else. Its a little odd though - went for blood tests but didn't really expect them to find anything - so even though its something very easy to sort out, it still a bit of getting my head round.

:o Well, I have spent the last few days making excuses to not go out...and playing Spider Solitare on the laptop:rotfl:I had forgotten just how addictive it is! How I laughed at my mum who admitted she only uses her laptop to play Solitare on it - well clearly it runs in the family.;)

Am slowly starting to feel better - the iron must be starting to kick in. Went for a run yesterday tho, to test out how my body was doing - well HA HA HAAAA is all I can say. If it was a test, then my body failed - here is how I felt..._pale_ so today I went for a walk - MUCH better!

ooooh - Bill Pullman is on TV - Lake Placid - love that film.... OK distraction city. I am definately struggling to concentrate on anything at the moment. To many things to do, and FAR too many options in the technology realm. Rupe Towers is not looking after the planet at the moment - we are possibly using up the energy quota for the whole street at the mo. Will get right on that...tomorrow....

Oh dear - slightly depressing weight gain this week - led me to panic buy a pair of trousers just to prove I could still fit in a size 14:o

Have an interview tonight for a job I really don't have the energy for - but am aware how handy the extra money would be. Its about 2 months too early really...

Have a good day all x
