Eww - been there with the chickenpox and exploding nappy scenario!

Aloe Vera gel works very well if the spots are itchy. As for you Hun, please go to the Docs if you feel you need to. It's no wonder you are picking up viruses if you have been feeling low.

Perhaps you need a period of healthy eating and exercise to boost your immune system, then you'll be back fitting fit for Summer :)

Do you know Macgirl - I think you are a genius! or psychic - one of the two. I woke up this morning and went for a walk in the sun - it felt brilliant:D

:T It is a lovely sunny day here too - it makes you feel so much better!

Well Mother's Day or not, I've just cleaned and hoovered the car and now I'm going to tidy the front garden! Gotta make hay while the Sun shines!

    Have a good one x

Tee hee - brought a Wii fit today (mainly due to my gymn membership running out 2 months before I thought it would?! - Either I am seriously losing my marbles or they made a mistake - we'll find out tomorrow when they call:cool: )ANYWAY - decided to go for the Wii Fit because I can't really afford the gymn anymore - and when it sorted out my weight and BMI, my Wii Mii looked like a Weeble with legs:rotfl:

I was so relieved to be in the overweight category and not the obese category though (although not by much) - I have deffo let things slide, so now that the Mother's Day Ferrero Rocher have all gone, bring on the healthy eating (again:o)

    Morning everyone

Well - here's the news from Rupeland: rugrats 2 and 3 off school with various germs - diahorrea and chickenpox respectively (wa-hey) - actually feel very sorry for rugrat no 2 - always got some kind of virus and it ALWAYS turns nasty on him.

So Rupe cannot go into work til OH gets home to take over the childcare - shame!;) The Biggest Loser awaits me at lunchtime!

Had big talk ('the' resignation talk) with my manager yesterday - could not have gone better - they understand - AND have offered me a different role, on much reduced hours til the summer (which is EXACTLY what i would like actually) - so a bit of money still coming in to go towards the uni fees, and the pressure of my current role is off.:j:j

Its at times like this I remember why I loved working there in the first place.

Rupe - that sounds ideal (the job bit not the children being ill, I mean!). So pleased that the big talk went so well.
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)

That's GREAT news Rupe! It's funny how things can take an unexpected positive turn - glad everything's better.
Hope the Wii's going well ;)

:j:T:jHey all - yep things are definately looking a lot sunnier and brighter in Rupeland at the moment. Am even being paid to eat this evening - can life get much better??:rotfl:Mind you I am really hungry now - and won't be eating for another couple of hours - hmm.

The Wii Fit is so much fun - but I can barely bend my legs at the moment - possibly overdone the yoga moves;) Have been to the gymn just now to try and 'run off' the aches - it really worked (how bizarre) - even more bizarre that I am choosing to exercise - I haven't half chenged since my school days:rotfl:

Junior rugrat still a bit spotty - but has been angelic all things considered.

Haha! Yep I'm always amazed at myself "enjoying" exercise - Sport Billy I'm not.
    Keep going though - you'll soon be bikini-fit ;)
  • Glad things are going your way Rupe, poorly ones aside. When big decisions are made, life always improves, I find, it's just the "shall I - shan't I?" stage that gets you down, and now you're beyond that! Good luck with the new exercise regime, dog walking aside I don't any, but am a kind of speedy person so seem to get by so far.

Have a great w/e and enjoy the free meal!
