    Hey dudes

A quick update from me (am just about to leave work - but coming back later:() - as we have no internet at home at the minute. Strange not being able to go on line at home - but possibly a good lesson for our family as the word 'obsessed' would fit a few of us at present!

MOJO mainly back, work OK, money a bit tight but OK - generally not too much to say.

Winter Olympics is my life at the moment - what am I going to do when it finishes???!!!

Hi all - a quick one from me - still no internet at home and me and the rugrats have been sick so no work/school much of this week.

Can I just mention that being unwell is extremely MSE - until you start to get better - then you just want chocolate biscuits (or is that just me??)

Have popped into work out of guilt, to find a lovely email from my boss saying that I do not have to make up the hours if I'm sick...so I shall go home again. ;)

Hey all - do you know what - this whole no internet at home thing is getting a little old now!

Anyway - big news - I'm resigning from my job:eek:

All sorts of 'stuff' has been going on, and enough is enough. The relevant person I have to tell is on holiday, so as soon as they come back we'll have 'the chat' and then I'll officially hand my resignation in. I have never done that before - resigned without having something else to go on to - mind you I did walk out of a job when I was younger.;)

So - virtual hugs please - cos am feeling a little weird about it all...

Wow Rupe! I'm really sorry that you feel you have to resign, but congratulations on being so strong in making that decision.
I'm sending you loads of virtual hugs (plus a virtual gin and tonic to fortify you!).
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)

    Hope you're ok Rupe :grouphug:
It sounds like things have been tough for a while, so it must be for the best.

But you DO have something to go to - OK so it's a course, not a job, but at least you have focus and a goal ahead - it's not such a random act :)

You never know what money-making opportunity you might stumble across in the meantime. Have faith in yourself - you have made this decision for the right reasons. Take care xx

:jThanks you guys. I am actually feeling so great now that the decision is done. (Of course the saving is going to be tougher - but we have a few plans). OH is being incredibly supportive - which makes such a difference.

    Yo yo!!!:j

I am writing from Chicken Pox heaven - yep junior rugrat has spots a-hoy, so we are in quarantine for a while (shame eh?!). BUT we have broadband again (at last!) and as soon as OH comes home with some milk for a cup of tea I will be set up for the weekend.:rotfl:

Thanks for hanging in with me dudes - has been a really cruddy few months - but you have helped a LOT:T:T:A:A

OK - managed to get out for a walk today - a bit of fresh air and Rupe time did me the world of good. Poor junior rugrat is COVERED in spots and woke me up this this morning having done an 'interesting' nighttime nappy (think ill child and you may well have a mental image already;)) - hosing him and the house down was a nice start to my day:rotfl:

Have picked up some sort of virus myself (to add to the one I just got over last week) - its getting ridiculous and the sooner I get myself to the doc's for a blood test the better - but lets see how likely it actually is...:o not very.

But on the good side - am so much happier now that the decision about work has been made. OH continues to be fantastic about it all.
