  • Hi Zippy,
Love the new pictures - she looks like a thoroughly spoilt and papmpered puss and why wouldn't she when you're there to wait on her hand and foot!

You sound much more cheerful today which is good as well.

Take care and hugs to Maggie x

  • Ha ha ha ! Pampered she is. Wee madam only drinks from her pint glas in her room darling. Not the one downstairs beside her food. They both get replaced every day :rotfl:

Wee bit more cheerful indeed. Thanks TRH.Just hoping the night wakes are good signs as its been weeks and weeks - she took sick on the week ending 30 Aug - so at least 3 weeks in my estimation.

I love how they get happy hour at silly oclock

Went to sleep last night and Mags was sat in my window sill behind the curtain just looking out the window. She was there ages - this was about 4am as I couldnt sleep. Woken later by a Maggie curled round my head sleeping on my pillow. Flippin heck! long time since she's done that! That is normally why I have to keep my bedroom door closed as she wakes me purring and climbing around my head, pawing my face etc.

    Hoping good signs.

  • For any Maggie fans.... I was taking my wraparound top off earlier, walking to the machine to put it in, when i felt something pulling me back. There was a little maggie attached to the wrap around bit. She seen it trailing the floor and couldnt resist! So we had a wee play for about 5 mins or so.

I taught her to catch a triangle folded up crisp packet, so we played throw and catch for 5 minutes and she was loving it - she jumps up to catch it and stuff. So she did that quite a few times. That's the first time I have seen her playing since this whole saga started. Lets hope these are all good signs of former Magginess :o

  • Hi Zippy,
Brilliant news and love the new photos. A sick cat won't play or be affectionate - they don't have the inclination or energy. It's great that she's doing both now, really good signs that she's feeling loads better.

Love the thought of her trailing along behind your top, what a little character you've got there.

You're sounding much more cheerful as well now, hope the job situation sorts itself out for you soon and that Maggie continues to improve.

Take care and hugs to Maggie x

And then it all goes wrong and seems to come crashing down.

She has had the runs today twice. Vet says we shouldnt be seeing that at this stage of treatment. Have to somehow get her to holywood vets tomoro night.

Oh no! And she was doing so well. Maybe it's the food that doesn't agree with her. I hope that there is some simple explanation for whatever is happening. Poor Maggie...

i know Snowy. She is mainly getting her dried food now with a very small amount of wet which she mainly just licks. SO mainly dry food and only water to drink. Gave her small bit of chicken on tues night. She got up on the bed this morning, was great , lay down for a cuddle before i got up. I mainly see her lively side at night, so its hard to tell how she is at the min - last night fine, today sleepy. I have went into the spare room twice and she hasnt lifted her head, just looked with her eyes, and normally shes bleating away - giving me a hello, and coming to greet me. She looks dog tired today. Moop.

i have a bloody date tonight i cant cancel, Grrrr. Vets tomo at lunch, managed to swing it.

To clarify, her dry food is her old original prescription food she has been on for years, so cant imagine it would be that . sh *t

  • Zippy, fingers crossed you can get this sorted out tomorrow. Poor little Maggie. Like Snowy says, hope this is something simple and can be resolved quickly.

Thinking about you and Maggie. x
