When you say you got an A- grade, what are you referring to? Sorry for the daft question!

Not daft aty all. I'm religiously adhering to the Calorie Count ''Eat meter'r food log. :o:o Asfound from the link in OP. I've also downloaded the tool bar to make this easier, its very quick to add foods. I always fill in the calories but am lazy with the other info. The ''eat meter'' gives a really good visual indication of how much you've eaten of a daily allowance and the grade is just...well, another target (nt wholly accurate I'd say;)) but a nice help. The toolbar means its just always there, whenever I look at the computer: something that while subtle is unavoidable :o. Although I have a reasonable idea of what I eat and the calorie content, better than many I think, the eat meter is a very easy visual tool, some thing that seems to have clicked for me.

Day 7 for me and I'm going to weigh myself tomorrow, but I've had a good week. I've stayed within 21 WW points every day apart from yesterday when I allowed myself my weekly chinese takeaway, couple of glasses of wine and a bar of chocolate (breakfast and lunch were healthy though!)

On Friday I wore a pair of trousers that I last wore two weeks ago when they felt shockingly tight  yet on Friday they were a little bit more comfortable, which I'm really pleased about.

My oldest two children go back to school tomorrow with my "baby" starting year R on 21st September, so I'm going to be able to get back to the gym/classes - it's almost impossible to do any formal exercise during the summer holidays, although I've been trying to do walking/cycling with them.

Hope everyone else is feeling fine :)

    Hello there,

I was wondering if it would be possible to join your group?

I desperately need to lose just under 3 stone and need all the motivation I can get because I binge eat. In April 2008, I weighed 9st 4lbs, and thought that was a perfect weight for me.

Anyway, if its okay to join can you let me know please, and let me know if I have to post what I eat every day,and when I post my weight.

    Im currently 11st 9lbs :o.

    Thank you

    Jackie

I really recommend it. I sort of ignore it last time I was in this exclusive little group, as I say, I have a reasonable knowledge of food, but this is unavoidably clear. Its helpful.

Point to note: I had a very reasonable, calorie wise, piece of soughdough toast for breakfast and coffe (I 've been having glass of skimmed milk/yoghurt/egg so protein heavy) and I found I was hungry by 11am. So, its not a good breakfast for me, however good on calories.

Hi Huston_kw and Jackie_w and welcome to the group :D

I didn't manage to weigh in yesterday (or today - young Toby is keeping us busy!), but my trousers are feeling looser so that must be a good sign ;)

  • Afternoon all, I have been very good today - yippee

I have cut my coffee down, (I drink about 20+ cups a day - hides head in shame) I worked out last night that it was 320 ish calories of sugar, but my cafetiere is coming tomorrow and I'm allowing myself one nice coffee in the morning and that's it. I have so far had two cups of coffee, and I feel like I actually have more energy today than normal.

I've had no "junk" today either, but I'm resisting temptation to weigh - going to leave it until the end of the month, I hope I'm going to be good this week as it's my AF soon and that is when my chocolate desire is rampant, I can't do the small piece of dark either as I love that stuff and last week I ate a big bar (150gms) in two days - so will just have to stop myself, got no chocolate or anything like that in so as long as I can stay away from the shop - I'll be fine.

Hope everyone has had a good weekend, off for tea, have to nudge OH as he makes it on a Sunday and he hasn't started yet.

Last night, I actually managed to squeeze into a bustier that I bought from ebay that I couldnt do up.... YAY !!!!!!!! It was a good job its stretchy, and I'll admit if I was less lumpy it would possibly have looked a bit better - but it gave me curves in all the right places!!!
And it was a canape buffet - so I was fine. one glass of champagne (bleugh!) on the way in,then i had a glass of elderflower, two orange juices and a glass of water. So all in all, I think i was quite good...

Ignored the poo today ;) and my friend came to ride my horse to make sure she isnt likely to fire me into the ground head first (she hasnt been ridden for 6 years, and I broke my neck two years ago - hitting the ground hard is frowned upon now!!) - she likes trotting,so I have a feeling that when I get on board Im going to be losing weight and building up my thighs quite quickly.... LOL

Oh - and am I the only person happy with this new thing of not having thighs under 60cm round??!! I think it will be a while before I have to panic about mine being unhealthily small ;)

I'll be a long termer as well, lots of weight to lose!

Trudi & lostinrates - I'm so jealous of you having horses :( When I'm not so humungously fat I can't wait to start riding again!

Well, I've been camping this weekend and as the decision to go was very last minute, food was sort of an afterthought. I've been as good as possible and I don't think I've had too many calories but it was a bit hard to keep track. I've walked for flipping miles today though! And I must be getting fitter because I managed to get up a hell of a big hill/tor and then a long walk after that (we were in search of stone circles in Derbyshire, I don't really know why :rotfl: ) and a month or two ago I would have been dead about a quarter of the way up the hill!
