Morning everyone. I know I haven't been posting but I have been reading every day, some interesting things going on. Especially about only eating when hungry - how can something that sounds so simple be so hard?

Dragon, your puppy is cute! Instead of going out to the pub you'll be taking the dog for a walk. A win win situation!

Anyway, today I am still 11st 1lb, same as last week. A bit dissapointing but not surprising. Here's to a better week this week. Fingers crossed for everyone.

I don't know, but it is!

This morning I wasn't hungry, and the dieter in me, says ''eat breakfast, eat breakfast, kick start your metabolism, and the part of me trying to respond to the body is saying, ''but your stomach isn't asking for food'' and the woman in me is also saying ''if you don't eat that's no calories, don't do it''. I compromised with a skimmed milk latte. Its tricky to know which becomes most important and how much the physical signs are influenced my the conditioned emotional/false ones.

Do tell :D, I have discovered the side effect of a new pup in the house - no going out to the pub on a whim so that MUST help - also we will not be able to get to the 101 (okay slight over estimate :rotfl:) Festive do's - yippee! (I don't enjoy them 'cos I am so porky - no Dragon should be that pudgy, we should be lean, mean machines!)

LOL - I almost bottled out when I was stood on the mounting block next to her !!! It suddenly hit me that Im quite a lot heavier than the last few people who have been on her, and shed only been sat on 4 times in the last 6 years... and there was only me and her at the yard,so if anything did happen....

but it was all fine. She looked after me like the complete star she is,and hopefully will continue to be !! Theres a walk and trot dressage on the 3rd of October, but my show jacket is an 18,and Im definately not - so have to beg/steal/borrow one from somewhere!

Got on the scales today, and according to them I have gone up a pound (eeeke!) but Im telling myself its where Im doing more excercise at the moment and im getting more muscly so sure it will go back down....
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup

If you are going hors concours (HC) and you ask nicely they might let you do it in a jumper, shirt and tie. I have a girlfriend who does that (she's a perfectly ''normal'' size just hates wearing jackets and long boots)

I rode her, and she didnt faint with shock.... (I nearly did - but thats another story!!!)

havent weighed myself yet - probably should get my considerable bum in gear....

well done everyone - we CAN do it !!

Well done Trudi :T Have you been breeding from her or has she been off work due to injury? Hope you don't mind me asking random questions but I need my horsey fix from somewhere :o

Does anyone know if eating at random times has any impact on weight loss? I hope that's not as stupid a question as it seems to me but I've been really stressed out over the past week and work and personal life are both up the wall so mealtimes have gone to pot a bit (ie I've only just eaten my lunch about 10 mins ago  ) I don't want it to end up messing up the efforts I'm making.

Working nights this week so I will hardly eat anything because of sleeping etc.

    Thanks hethmar!

Probably should point out, i'm not trying to starve myself thin, but when I do nights I just don't fancy eating! I'll eat like one meal a day because i'm sleeping the rest of it!

Welcome to the thread ruby_eskimo! We're a friendly lot here :D

I'm doing ok today, although I had some chocolate earlier  Strangely, I didn't enjoy it that much and I didn't eat much of it. So here I am, back on the straight and narrow. I weighed myself this morning - 133lbs. So it seems to be going down again, which may be a blip but I hope not!!

Loving all the horsey talk but haven't a clue what half of it means! What is a mounting block?? :rotfl:
