Morning everyone
Good luck to all the kids doing their SATS
Good luck moggins and outrageous_monkey on giving up the ciggies
Lovely day yesterday but last night the heavens opened and it rained heavily all night but luckily my runner beans seem to have survived it!!! Dentists have just rang with a cancellation appointment for my DD1 so we are off their after school (i am sure she will be pleased ......... NOT!). I think it will be HM pizza for tea although not sure what DD1 will want if her mouth is all numb. Must get on with finding some bits to put on ebay - havent done any for ages.
Hope everyone has a good day

Hello all,
Its been absolutely pouring here YAY! so I've been putting out anything that can catch drips.
Yesterday we went to see mission impossible 3 so I woke up this morning with the theme tune in my head and will have driven myself mad by the end of the day, trying not to sing it.
We were going to eat out as a treat but couldnt find anywhere that wasnt hosting football TV(nobody follows footy here and we are T-total).We came home and had Spanish Ommelete in the end,I hadnt made it before and everyone thought it was lovely so that was a relief.
We havent been doing much Home ed studying as DD is off to the 6th form college in Sep along with DS. She is immersed in a book as usual.
DS brought down his weeks washing yesterday at about 5pm(3 polo shirts!) when I asked him where the rest was,he thought I was joking!! Perhaps it is time he started doing his own??
Breakfast today was fruit and fibre with pineapple juice from the tin
lunch will be HM bread and sardine pate
Tea wil be liver and bacon with tomatoes and baked potato
Be good!

Off out tonight to a meeting with the Owner of the Ice Hockey team I support so i'm meeting my other mum before and going for tea.
Thursday we are having a big meal at work with the big cheese to say thanks to all the PA's in the business so that's another night out and another night when I don't have to cook.
Breakfast - Beans on toast at w*** (71p)
Lunch - Pastrami and smokey cheese on brown, apple, orange, banana bread

just thought i'd stick my head round the door and sayhello on this wet and miserable day (blooming typical, we had a mini heat wave yesterday, and i was stuck in work  )
on the plus side, i suppose im more likely to stay chained to the desk working on uni assignments. hoping to get 2 finished today...time will tell.
had a rather lovely brunch of soft boiled eggs with lots of soldiers. haven't had it in ages, in fact this was my very first attempt at soft boiling eggs. im proud to report it was a roaring success and OH and i are now both nicely full.
hope you all have a brilliant day in spite of the weather. best of british to all the MSEs in training who are taking exams at the mo, im sure you'll do brilliantly

Hello
Moggins - good luck with quitting. By this time next year you'll be the one complaining loudly about stinky fags & ostentaciously waving other people's smoke away from your face
Shez - glad you enjoyed CP. 4 weeks on Saturday til my next holiday! :T can't wait
Catznine - Florida's fab isn't it, even just for shopping. When we went in 2004 it was pretty much $2 to £1, so I made the most if it. Actually wish I'd bought more as it was such great value.
Elona - sorry to hear about your Dad. We're all thinking of you.
To all those parents & teachers who are worrying over SATs, GCSEs, A levels & what ever else - *fingers crossed*
Got a fairly local site visit to do this afternoon, coupled with a quick trip to Argos for bathroom bits & hopefully a coffee with my friend Sam on the way home if time allows.
Just had a yummy HM tuna burger for lunch (early cos OH had to go to work) & easy peasy chicken caesar salad for tea cos there's only me here.0 -

Good afternoon everyone,
Well, the two little ones are having a sleep, so im having a quiet half hour whilst i eat my lunch (HM soup).
Found out this morning that both my children are doing SATS this week (DS year 4, DD year 3) but they arnt for the government, just for the school, but the children all know they are doing exams under timed conditions, so i hope they all get on ok!!!
Had some really good news in the post tho, DDs speach therapy appointment has finally come through, we have been waiting months since she was diagnosed, so this is very welcome news!!
Right, off to make a lasagne for tonights dinner, before the little ones wake up.
